Recap of Episode 10
In the previous episode, the Fly Team was caught in a dangerous mission involving the Russians and a deadly bioweapon.
Dr. Vasily Svridov, a Russian biochemist, was secretly working with the Americans. When the Russian government found out, they executed him at his home. Before his death, he handed his research, a powerful bioweapon, to his daughter, Yulia, and told her to escape.
Yulia, terrified and unsure whom to trust, handcuffed herself to the suitcase containing the bioweapon. She was supposed to give it to an American scientist, Dr. Alexander Chung, but she was too scared to follow through.
The Fly Team was sent to rescue Yulia from Ukraine and bring her to safety. However, the Russians were determined to capture her and take back the weapon. The team managed to get Yulia onto a train out of the country, but the Russians attacked. After a tense fight, the team escaped to Poland and hid in a U.S. warehouse.
When they finally opened the suitcase, they discovered that it contained a virus capable of causing a deadly pandemic. Yulia was heartbroken, for her father had promised never to create a bioweapon but had betrayed her trust.
As the team tried to transport the virus safely, the Russians launched another ambush. They tricked the local police into arresting Yulia and Raines, and then killed the officers before demanding the suitcase. Raines had no choice but to hand it over.
However, the Fly Team had switched the real bioweapon with a fake one. While the Russians thought they had won, the real virus had been safely delivered to Dr. Chung’s lab.
Meanwhile, Tyler chose to leave the team and return to the U.S., giving up his promotion. Smitty, as a farewell gift, arranged for his daughter to welcome him home, making for an emotional ending.
