Shark Tank mentor Robert Herjavec shared a video clip via Instagram on February 20, 2025. He discussed how most successful people answer and ask "greatly." The tech billionaire talked about Charles Munger, a businessman and a philanthropist, and as Robert described him, a legend.
Robert Herjavec revealed one of his traits, that he has the habit of "asking people" a lot of questions. In the video clip, the mentor stated:
"I have a natural curiosity about life and people and I find people fascinating and I just don't mean powerful wealthy people. I mean all people. A good friend of mine who's a pastor said something to me a long time ago that I think is very much true. 'You will never find anything in life as fascinating as another human being,' and I think it's very true."
Shark Tank mentor Robert Herjavec opens up about his habit of asking "tons" of questions and his learnings from Charlie Munger
Robert Herjavec shared an Instagram clip revealing his habit of asking "tons" of questions to people. While sharing more on the subject, he recalled renowned businessman and investor Charlie Munger. Recalling his first meeting with the "legend," Robert mentioned:
"Curiosity feeds the mind and the wallet. Charlie was a legend. I have to admit I was in awe when I first met him. I had a million questions I wanted to ask him about life, about investing, many things. I have a habit of asking people a ton of questions to the point I can make people feel uncomfortable."
Shark Tank investor talked about how he is fascinated by people. He also recalled one of his friends, a pastor, who shared something that Robert had memorized until today. It was about how people won't find anything in "life" as fascinating as another "human being."
Following his instinct of asking "a million" questions to Charlie, Robert mentioned that the legend himself asked "a lot of" questions. As he recalled, Charlie asked him questions:
"About me, where I came from, Shark Tank, my parents, how the show works. He loved Shark Tank. He asked me a ton of questions."
From the questions that Charlie asked Robert, he said he learned "a lot." One of the learnings was that "the key to good answers is great questions," and the lesson was:
"Curiosity didn't kill the cat. But it made him richer and more informed."
Robert shared the said clip with a caption that referred to how "the most successful people" don't just offer "great" answers, but they are also "relentless" in asking questions as well. Shark Tank's mentor referred to "curiosity" as a strategy and how it "fuels" success.
Fans can witness Robert Herjavec on Shark Tank Season 16, sharing his knowledge while investing in numerous business ventures.
