At the same time, it also addresses the love triangle between Camila, Miguel, and David. Though the season concludes most of the plot points, it still leaves some room for future stories. Here is an explanation of Fake Profile season 2 ending.

Fake Profile season 2 confirms that Angela is the serial killer. After being released early from prison, she holds resentment toward unfaithful men, as her ex-husband Fernando is not loyal to her. At the same time, she wants to go against anyone she believes wronged her father, Pedro.

Even though Pedro is an abusive man, Angela thinks of him as a hero and ignores the truth about his dark personality. Hence, she goes on a killing spree, targeting men she thinks are unfaithful and people responsible for her father’s decline.

Angela’s first victim is Jesus Franco, a lawyer she lures with a fake Tinder account called ‘Red Velvet,’ based on Camila’s stage name. Later, she goes after others, including her own brother Adrian and his ex-fiancé Cristobal.

She also kills Tina, an old friend of her father, because Tina wanted to expose Pedro’s crimes. Though the police find out that Angela is the killer, she is able to escape in the end. She teams up with her neighbor Vanessa after the latter shoots her husband.

The two cover up the crime and dissolve the man’s body in chemicals. They then escape to a foreign country on a boat. While Vanessa hopes for a new life, Angela is still obsessed with her ex-husband, hinting she might return for him in the future.

Camila goes through an emotional rollercoaster in Fake Profile season 2. She decides to marry David but still dreams about Miguel, who keeps stalking her. Even though Camila tries to move on, she realizes she still loves Miguel. Eventually, she breaks things off with David and decides to be with Miguel.

David is heartbroken but accepts her decision and chooses to give her divorce. However, Camila’s therapist, Dr. Joaquin Duval, who is also Angela’s partner in crime, has been secretly recording Camila’s therapy sessions and messing with her emotions.

He becomes obsessed with her and kidnaps her, taking her to a yacht. He admits to being involved in the murders and even says he killed Adrian to protect his plans with Angela. Miguel then arrives at the scene and saves Camila while fighting with Duval.

As things get intense, Detective Indira shows up and shoots Duval. Camila and Miguel are able to reunite. Despite Miguel’s lies, Camila continues to be in love with him and is ready to start afresh.

Dr. Joaquin Duval is the actual villain in Fake Profile season 2. He meets Angela in prison as her therapist, but instead of helping her, promotes her violent urges and anger. He convinces her to kill unfaithful men as part of his twisted experiment.

Meanwhile, Camila also starts having sessions with him for her own emotional issues, but the doctor ends up falling for her. Again, instead of helping her, he manipulates her.

Duval’s actions come from his need to feel powerful and in control. In the end, Detective Indira stops him by exposing his crimes and shooting him to rescue Camila and Miguel on the yacht.

All episodes of Fake Profile seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix.
