Shark Tank mentor Daniel Lubetzky opens up about opportunities and mistakes
Fans who follow the ABC reality show Shark Tank must know Daniel Lubetzky, a Mexican-American billionaire businessman. In his recently shared Instagram reel, he talked about how individuals sometimes take things for "granted." That, too, without "realizing."
Daniel talked about countries where mistakes and failures are intolerable. Whenever such things happen, including failures, they are held against one's family:
"One thing that we take for granted that we don't realize here in the United States is how rare the entrepreneurial spirit in America is it. There's many, many countries where failure is not tolerable. It is like a mark against your family and so people don't take risks because if they fail as entrepreneurs, they will be chastised and hated."
He talked about the "entrepreneur's spirit," which cannot strive without recognizing the mistakes, which is part of the formula.
He further stated:
"Entrepreneur's spirit cannot thrive without recognizing that making mistakes is part of the formula that you have to be okay. With any pursuit being okay making mistakes and this goes with the dangers that our society is facing we're not also giving of one another."
Shark Tank investor mentioned that undermining the "spirit of entrepreneurship" had made the nation "great." It further advances toward the essentials of "civility, grace, and kindness."
Daniel Lubetzky urged everyone to be "a little bit more" forgiving towards each other. According to him, it was not just the "right thing" to do but also the right thing for our "economy" and "society." He concluded the clip by stating that forgiving is of the essence for our society to function well.
