Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick, who played for the Falcons and Eagles, interviews some of the previous as well as current NFL players across the country. In The Evolution of the Black Quarterback, he asked each of them the same question:

"What do you think about the development of black quarterbacks?"

In 2001, Michael Vick became the first African-American quarterback to be selected first overall in the NFL draft. In the docuseries, he sits down and talks to the trailblazers, who paved the way for African-American quarterbacks.

He interviews stars from various backgrounds including entertainers Jamie Foxx and Colin Kaepernick, as well as white athletes Josh Allen and Steve Young. They examine the cultural contributions black quarterbacks have made over the last century and the obstacles they have had to overcome.
