Shark Tank investor Jamie Kern Lima shared a video on February 5, 2025, featuring her conversation with Lewis Howes. For the fans who might not know him, he is also similar to Jamie, a two-time New York Times best-selling author and a podcast host.
The clip that Jamie shared features some of the conversations between the two, in which they share their opinions and insights about various things and situations.
In one of the segments, the Shark Tank investor shared her thoughts about "gut" feeling and how everyone has a "knowing."
"We have the mute button on our own gut and it goes on for so long that we start to not learn how to hear it and so you know for me and it and it's not and I believe everyone has a knowing and I believe it's always right and I think that like learning how to listen to it and how to trust it is a journey. It's a process," said Jamie Kern Lima.
Shark Tank mentor Jamie Kern Lima reveals "knowing" and how it is "always right"
In a recently released video featuring Lewis Howes and Jamie Kern Lima, the latter opens up about how she and all her girlfriends have faced particular situations in their relationships.
She was referring to the individuals who might initially come off as "sketchy:"
"I don't think I have a single girlfriend in my life, including myself, who hasn't gone through a relationship where you know he's like sketchy. You know...you know and you're like, "Oh, maybe his phone did break for three days." Maybe like, you know it didn't break."
She added:
"You know...we all know. And I just think that we start to turn up the volume on all this noise in our life: how busy we are, other people's opinions, what our inner circle says, all the things."
While stating that, the Shark Tank investor said that everyone has a "mute button." Most individuals keep that "mute" button in their gut, which results in the inability to listen to that button. She revealed how everyone has a "knowing" and that it's "always right."
When she asked Lewis Howes about the "knowing," he mentioned that he has a "gut instinct." He added that he does "extensively" research people.
She talked about how she has met "many amazing people," on video. However, after meeting them in person, as she stated, it was a different experience. Further, she mentioned that everyone has "miscalculations" and "misjudgments" and that everyone makes mistakes. The Shark Tank mentor stated that our "mistakes" are our "intentions."
Fans can witness Jamie Kern Lima on Shark Tank Season 16, streaming the latest episodes on ITVX.
