Mr Beast's game show- the Beast Games' has just come to an end, and the show gave out the biggest cash prize in history- a whopping $10 million dollars. Inspired by Netflix's Squid Game, Beast Games featured over a thousand players who slowly got eliminated in ways more than one, leaving the finale up to two players, Player 831 and Player 830, with Player 831 taking home the grand prize.
Although player 831 was the winner of the show, he was not the only one who went home with an insane amount of money. Mr Beast revealed that throughout the show, over 85 contestants have won $20 million among themselves. Also, every participant was given $2000 for playing on the show.
"This season, there was over $20 million in prizes given away. And 85 winners of those prizes. Every single player who competed was given $2,000 for playing. Throughout the season Beast Games broke a total of 50 world records."
Apart from player 831, here are the other winners of Beast Games who took home grand prizes.
1. Player 831- Jeffrey Randall Allen: $10,004,244
The show's winner was Jeffrey Randall Allen, who won the $5 million cash prize. As Mr Beast himself announced, whoever could guess the outcome of the coin toss would win double the grand prize, and Allen did just that. In the last competition, Allen and player 830 had to guess which suitcase contained the cheque for the cash prize. Allen won, having guessed the correct suitcase on his first try.
The winner is also putting his money to good use, as he has previously spoken on the show about wanting to use the money to treat his son's rare disease of Creatine TransporterDeficiency. He has also used the platform and has promised to use his money to raise more awareness about the disease.
2. Player 952 -Mia Speight: $1,800,000 (Winner of the Private Island)
Mia Speight took home the second biggest prize on the show, a private island worth $1,800,000. Speight is already a celebrity, having worked as an actress and a voiceover artist for multiple projects.
In episodes six and seven, the players who had volunteered to compete for the chance to win the island participated in several challenges, from a vote to determine who would be eliminated to one player earning $425,000 after deciding to quit the game and opening a briefcase.
However, just two players were remaining, including Player 952. Mr. Beast instructed the players to place a check in one briefcase and an X in the other. Following this, the players selected one of the rivals' briefcases to trade; if they opened it and found two checks, they would win the island. It didn't take Speight more than a round to become the winner and a proud owner of a private island.
3. Player 9744- Gage Gallagher: $1,000,000
Gage Gallagher was one of the contestants who was vying for the last prize of $5 million. However, before conducting the final round, Beast announced that he was offering a bribe of a million dollars to anyone who decided to get out of the competition and go home with 1/5 of the actual prize. Gallagher happily accepted the offer and won the third-biggest prize on the show.
Other winners
Apart from the top 3 biggest prizes, player 566, JC Gallego Iori, and player 467, Esteban Zepeda also took home cash prizes worth $650,000 and $450,000 respectively. Overall, the show saw multiple winners and as Beast stated, a total of $20 million was spent on the winners and participants throughout the show.
