Looking ahead to 2025, there's already a lot set to hit the streaming platforms of Disney+ and Hulu. As we approach the end of 2024, there's a lot to look forward to as the year draws to a close.

New series and seasons are set to turn to Disney+ and Hulu in the coming year into a full-blown entertainment frenzy that will drive audiences crazy. From new shows, starting with Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again to the final season of The Handmaid's Tale, find out which shows will be trending in 2025 and where to stream them in our definitive guide.

The Bear Season 4

The Bear went big at this year's Primetime Emmy Awards. Now, fans are eaglerly awaiting The Bear Season 4, which is already in the works. This series, follows the genre of comedy-drama and airs on both Hulu and Disney+. It tells the story of Carmy Berzatto, who returns to his hometown of Chicago after his brother dies and leaves him a sandwich shop.

As a show, The Bear has amplified excitement with each season, while still retaining the fantastic characters that make the show so popular. The series has been a critical favorite in all three seasons and has won numerous major awards, including several Emmys and Golden Globes.

After three great seasons, it is really difficult to put up with the wait and it looks like fans can't wait for the next one. Disney has just announced that the show will return with a new season on the platform in 2025.

Ironheart is an American miniseries for Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, created by Chinaka Hodge. The series is produced by Marvel Studios and features Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams.

In Ironheart, Riri begins working with Hood, unaware that he is a Marvel villain. They team up so that she can gather the materials she needs to build her next suit after being expelled from MIT. She is joined by Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Regan Aliyah, Alden Ehrenreich, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.

Ironheart will premiere on Disney+ on June 24, 2025, and consists of six episodes, concluding Phase Five of the MCU.


Alien: Earth

Alien: Earth is an upcoming science fiction horror series. The series is written and directed by Noah Hawley. The show takes place 30 years before the 1979 film Alien and is a prequel to it.

Alien: Earth is the story of a strange spaceship that has crashed on Earth. A young woman and a group of soldiers begin to unravel the mystery behind it, only to face immense threats on Earth. The series stars Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, and Adarsh Gourav.

The series will be available to stream on Hulu for US viewers, but for international viewers, the same show is available on Disney+.


Good American Family

Hulu has ordered eight episodes of the series Good American Family for 2025. The series is the brainchild of Katie Robbins and stars Ellen Pompeo, Mark Duplass, and Imogen Faith Reid.

The series tells the story of a Midwestern couple who bring home a young girl they believe has dwarfism, but as they raise her alongside their three biological children, they begin to suspect she's not telling the truth about herself.

As they try to investigate, they quickly find themselves embroiled in impossible questions about how far they are willing to go to protect themselves, and how that battle will play out in a storm of media sensationalism, courtroom drama, and the very fabric of their marriage.


Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is a brand new sci-fi created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford. It belongs to the house of Star Wars. The story is about four kids who find something on their planet, after which they get lost in space. The kids then band together for a journey to find their way to their home planet.

The cast of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew includes Jude Law, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon, and Nick Frost. After the series is released, fans can watch it on Disney+ from December 3, 2024.


Goosebumps: The Vanishing

Goosebumps: The Vanishing is an anthology and horror show. It follows fraternal twins Devin and Cece growing up with their recently divorced father, Anthony. When he is threatened, they discover that there are dark secrets among them, setting off a chain of events that unravels a deep mystery. As Devin and Cece begin to dig into their family history, they are drawn together with Alex, CJ, and Frankie in a strange story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994.

The cast of the program includes David Schwimmer, Ana Ortiz, Jayden Bartels, Sam McCarthy, Elijah M. Cooper, Francesca Noel, and Galilea La Salvia. The show will be available on Hulu and Disney+ for fans to stream after its release.


Daredevil: Born Again

Daredevil: Born Again is an upcoming American television series created by Dario Scardapane and Christopher Ord & Matthew Corman for the Disney+ streaming service. The series is based on the Marvel Comics character Daredevil.

The plot follows Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with extraordinary abilities, as he fights for justice through his law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk decides to pursue his political aspirations in New York. As their old identities resurface, the two men find themselves on an inescapable collision course.

This will be the second series centered on the character, following Daredevil, from the former Marvel Television production company and Netflix. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock / Daredevil. The cast also includes Vincent D'Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, Jon Bernthal, Wilson Bethel and Jeremy Earl.


Chad Powers

Chad Powers is an upcoming comedy series from Glen Powell and Michael Waldron on Hulu. Powell stars as Chad Powers, alongside Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Clayne Crawford, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, Colton Ryan, Keese Wilson, Xavier Mills, and Quentin Plair.

The plotline behind Chad Powers is when hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday's college career is ended by his bad behavior, he decides to disguise himself and join a struggling Southern football team, posing as the charming and talented Chad Powers.


Andor Season 2

Andor Season 2 will be released on 22 April 2025 on Disney+. The new season delves deeper into Cassian's time before he joined the Rebel Alliance and met Jyn Erso.

The 12 episodes are divided into three-episode arcs, each covering a year of Cassian's life. This means that the four years of the story will be more than revealed to the audience by the end of the season. When the series is released, viewers will be able to watch it on Disney+.


Paradise

Paradise is a new Hulu series written and created by Dan Fogelman and starring Sterling K. Brown. It is a comedy-drama about a security guard, who served a former US president.

Other cast members include James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, and Sarah Shahi. Filming began in January 2024 in Los Angeles and the working title is Paradise City.


The Handmaid's Tale Final Season

The Handmaid's Tale first aired in 2017 and received several notable awards, including several Emmy Awards. The show will conclude with its sixth season on Hulu in spring 2025.


‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians’ Season 2

The second series of the popular Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the Sea of Monsters series by Rick Riordan. It has been a year since Percy returned to Camp Half-Blood, but things are taking a turn for the worse. His relationship with Annabeth changes, he discovers he has a Cyclops brother, Grover is missing and the camp is attacked by the forces of Kronos.

To put things right, Percy must travel to the treacherous Sea of Monsters, where a secret destiny awaits the son of Poseidon. After its release, the series will premiere on Disney+.
