Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has manifested a number of Easter eggs and references during the ancient space pirates' journey to find a way home to At Attin. The latest series of the Star Wars franchise features Jude Law as a mysterious Force-user in the galaxy named Jod Na Nawood, who later turns out to be a Jedi survivor.

As The Onyx Cinder's young crew struggles to find a way back, their members are guided by Jod, their new captain. Moreover, they don't have the coordinates to At Attin as they were erased by the old Captain. As we see them advancing on their space journey, we come across elements from the Star Wars Universe connected through subtle references.

Some of the Star Wars references in Skeleton Crew are The Onyx Cinder, a Boba Fett twin, a modified form of Cthulhu, Wim's new lightsaber, the last Old Republic Mint, and many more. We even see Jude Law's Jod Na Nawood getting multiple aliases and Tak Rennod replacing pirate king Xim The Despot. Here is a list of some of the Easter Eggs from Skeleton Crew Episode 5.

1) A Boba Fett's twin shown soaking in mud

A Hutt seen soaking in mud in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is one of The Twins of Jaba The Hutt from The Book of Boba Fett. The twin is seen bearing a chin tattoo which is a confirmation of the fact that he is the same one who took down Boba Fett in the last Star Wars installment.

2) A new lightsaber with a silver and gold accent

Wim discovers a brand new weapon that looks exactly like a lightsaber from Captain Tak Rennod's vault. Later in the series, we see Wim engage in a duel with Jod where the latter wins and uses The Force to wield the magical sword. It resembles the Protection and Defense style that was seen in the older eras. So, a portrayal of the weapon in Rennod's lair makes sense.

3) Attin's mystical treasure - The Old Republic Mint

The Old Republic Mint has been portrayed through a hologram in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. It is the eternal treasure of At Attin and anyone, like pirate Jod, who possesses it can create an invaluable currency. This reference also builds up on a classic Star Wars note.

4) The Banking Clan in the New Republic era

As seen in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the Banking Clan still operates in the new era. We also see a species very similar to Darth Plagueis of The Acolyte - the Munns. Moreover, the alter ego of Darth Plagueis, Hego Damask is an investor with the Banking Clan - which again connects us to the Legends).

5) The legendary Onyx Cinder

The Onyx Cinder Easter Egg is the most speculated one where we learn that the mysterious pirate ship's original owner was Tak Rennod. No one ever found any trace of the vessel or anyone on board it. As per SM-33, Rennod intentionally made the spaceship crash on the planet and killed the entire crew - a result of which is the droid's disabled memory.

6) Jod Na Nawood's multiple aliases

Jude Law's Jod Na Nawood is portrayed in multiple avatars like Dash Zentin and Jodwick Zank. The Dash Zentin reference clearly points out to the infamous smuggler Dash Rendnar who we saw in Shadows of the Empire. The Jod-Dash history from the canon is probably the reason why we see him carrying a new name.

7) A new form of Cthulhu

We see a new form of Cthulhu as a giant octopus-like creature called Cthallops in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The two have a very close resemblance as seen in the latest show. Cthallops also helps Wim and Fern to get into Rennod's lair below the Skull Ridge spa.
