Landman has finally delivered a high-stakes finale after Tommy Norris' boss Monty's condition worsened and led to his ultimate death. The last episode opens with archive footage, followed by the doctor informing Cami about her husband's uncertain fate. As per the president's will, Norris becomes the new boss of M-Tex.
However, this doesn't mean that the problems are resolved, as the Cartel is still a big issue and Tommy later gets ambushed by its members. As seen in the Landman Season 1 finale, Tommy Norris is brutally beaten up, and the cartel's boss Jimenez even pounds a nail into his leg, and prepares himself to kill him.
However, before Jimenez could initiate his next move, an unexpected character appeared, surprising fans with a cameo. While the key characters like Tommy's family, Cami, Rebecca, and more returned for the last time, Episode 10 "The Crumbs of Hope" also introduced fans to some new faces.

Cameos and guest stars who appeared in the Landman Season 1 finale
Landman Season 1 finale saw Tommy Norris taking over the lead of his company after Monty Miller's death, but this doesn't solve the conflict with the cartel until a new character shows up, expressing his desire for a peaceful resolution. Here's a list of guest stars and cameos in the series:
1) Andy Garcia
The biggest surprise in the Landman Season 1 finale wasn't Tommy Norris becoming the president, but the appearance of Andy Garcia as Gallino. He shows up right before Jimenez is about to kill Tommy in the basement.
The scene is quite similar to the first episode which opens with Norris being tortured in the basement and later he strikes a deal. In the finale, the cartel members hear gunshots and Andy Garcia makes his entry by killing Jimenez and untying Tommy Norris.
Gallino explains to Tommy that Jimenez didn't understand what he did, and says "We must coexist", but Tommy doesn't seem to have been impressed by him, and bluntly tells Gallino to stay out of MTex's way. Gallino escorts Tommy through safety and leaves him to reflect on the precarious situation.
Interestingly, Billy Bob Thornton and Andy Garcia share a great bond, and while talking about the Landman Season 1 finale, Thornton said (via The Hollywood Reporter):
"Andy Garcia and I have known each other for years and years, but this was our first time working together. But it felt very natural and real to have two grizzled-in veterans facing off against each other. Andy and I, I think, work very well together."
While Garcia's return in a potential Season 2 isn't confirmed, it would be interesting to watch him playing a boss in the oil industry if Sheridan renews the show.

2) Jim Meskimen
Another guest star we see in the Season 1 finale is Jim Meskimen as Monty's personal lawyer Alan. He's seen during the opening scenes of the last episode, in which he reveals that per Monty's will, Tommy Norris will become the next president of MTex, and be responsible for facilitating the sale of the company.
3) Michael Tow
As seen at the beginning of the finale, Tow's Dr. Michaels explains Monty's condition and his open heart surgery to Cami and Tommy Norris. He tells them to replace Monty's heart for which they need a donor. The doctor also clarifies that Monty's survival isn't confined yet they will try to save him.

4) Alex Meraz
The cartel leader who threatened Tommy in the previous episode finally showed up in the Landman Season 1 finale. He captured Tommy and tortured him in the basement, but met his end when Andy Garcia's Gallino showed up.
5) Robert Lewis Stephensen
Robert Lewis Stephensen plays Ed Swensen in the Landman Season 1 finale and is seen collaborating with Tommy's son Cooper for some oil business. During their conversation, Cooper explains to Swensen how their collaboration can help them both, and convinces the small-time oil dealer to sign a lease.
