The world of Bridgerton is a feast for the eyes. It is also a battleground for wit and charm. Bridgerton has the ability to bring together the beauty of the era in which it is set, along with characters that are intriguing and keep the viewers hooked. Each of the families shown in Bridgerton has a unique nature.

However, the Bridgerton family is undoubtedly the most compelling one. The Bridgerton family houses eight siblings: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and the youngest of all, Hyacinth. Each of these siblings has a unique personality that makes them stand out from the crowd. From Anthony’s stoic nature to Hyacinth’s whimsical nature, the distinct flavour of these characters makes the show interesting and hard not to binge-watch.

Each season features the love story of one of the Bridgerton siblings. Though the main focus is on the sibling highlighted in each season, the other siblings also have their moments. The first season featured Daphne’s love story, the second focused on Anthony, and the third revolved around Colin and Francesca.

The unique qualities of these siblings are showcased through their playful banter and interactions with other characters. This ranking is not about objective superiority but rather an exploration of the nuances of their characters. Some of these siblings display their charm and wit through their interactions with others, while some do so through their actions. So, let’s dive into every Bridgerton sibling, ranked by charm and wit.

8) Colin Bridgerton

Though Colin Bridgerton had his story in the most recent season of Bridgerton, he has often been criticized for his character among viewers. In the second season, we see Colin’s behavior toward Penelope as harsh, especially when he spoke about her behind her back.

Though he is portrayed as kind and compassionate, his relationship with Penelope was not as well received by viewers as Daphne’s relationship with the Duke or Anthony’s relationship with Kate. There have been several moments when his moral compass was questionable. This is especially evident when he visits Marina’s house after her marriage in season 2. Despite Marina showing discomfort at his arrival, Colin insisted on staying.

He has often been compared to his two elder brothers, Anthony and Benedict, who are much more assertive and have a clearer sense of purpose. This is particularly noticeable when he only decided to pursue Penelope after Lord Debling showed interest in her. Though he has achieved a bit of maturity in season 3, viewers are expecting more from him.

7) Gregory Bridgerton

Gregory Bridgerton is one of the youngest siblings in the Bridgerton family. Though throughout the three seasons of Bridgerton, Gregory has not received much screentime, in the short moments he was on screen, he has become one of the most beloved siblings among viewers.

He is known for his youthful enthusiasm and a sense of romanticism that has grown with each season. His character has developed over time, and viewers are eager to see him become more prominent. Gregory’s interactions with Hyacinth are some of the most interesting moments, as we see their banter and playful nature.

Though his charm and wit are not yet fully realized, he has become a notable character in Bridgerton.

6) Francessca Bridgerton

Francesca is the quietest sibling among the eight. We see the most of Francesca in season 3 when she is presented to society. Francesca’s wit is not delivered in a loud manner; it is subtle and usually seen in her quiet remarks. She is shown as reserved, which is an indication of her sharp wit.

Though she is aware of the social dynamics around her and is initially guided by others, in the later moments of season 3, we see her character grow. She evolves into a quiet, confident, and charming woman, according to viewers.

In season 3, Francesca was recast so that her character could be explored properly. She is not the most flamboyant, but her charm and wit are undeniable.

5) Hyacinth Bridgerton

Though Hyacinth is the youngest sibling of the Bridgerton family, she has been quite the favorite among viewers. Unlike Francesca, she is high-spirited and has a sharp tongue. She is refreshingly candid in her ways and delivers witty remarks without any inhibition.

She is also a source of comedic relief during intense moments, which adds to her overall charm. Her interactions with Eloise and Gregory are some of the best moments that showcase her wit. Though she has not received enough screentime, she has stolen the show whenever she appears on screen.

Hyacinth’s character is growing, and viewers are excited to see more of her charm and wit in the upcoming seasons of Bridgerton.

4) Benedict Bridgerton

Benedict is a beloved character in Bridgerton. He is undeniably one of the most charming and witty siblings in the family. Unlike his elder brother, Benedict is more relaxed and less anxious. He also has an artistic temperament. His artistic pursuits can be seen in season 2 during his interaction with Madame Delacroix. His words about poetry—when he says that poetry is the art of revealing the precious truth with words—show his wit and intellect.

Though he is often compared to Anthony, he has a distinct charm that captures the hearts of viewers. His journey of exploring his own identity and desires and eventually understanding himself has resonated with the audience. He is the most relatable character among the siblings. He is sensitive and supportive.

This can especially be seen in his interactions with his sister, Eloise. He is the embodiment of freedom and lives life on his own terms. Yet, despite his independent nature, he is fiercely loyal to his family. Season 4 will be Benedict’s season, and viewers are eagerly waiting to see more of his charm and wit.

3) Daphne Bridgerton

Season one showcased Daphne’s wit and charm, undoubtedly making her a fan favorite. She has a natural grace, which is evident when she is first introduced to Queen Charlotte. Despite being in a tense situation, she handles herself with poise, which is part of her charm.

She becomes the most sought-after candidate in the marriage market that season. Though she is not sharp-tongued, she is certainly capable of navigating situations with her charm. When she caught Anthony with Kate in the library, she tried to make her brother understand, demonstrating her wit and ability to resolve conflicts.

She is the one her siblings turn to for advice. As the eldest, she feels responsible for the well-being of her younger sisters and hopes they, too, find love as she did.

2) Anthony Bridgerton

Being the eldest sibling of the Bridgerton household, Anthony holds immense responsibilities, which initially made him anxious and worried. He carries the heavy burden of the household, and his nature was quite different in the first season of Bridgerton. In the first season, Anthony’s actions seemed controlling.

Though his interactions with the Duke showcased his wit, he was not at his most charming. However, in season 2, Anthony’s character takes a drastic turn after he meets Kate. He becomes more and more charming and grows into one of the most beloved characters in Bridgerton. Initially, he avoided emotional vulnerability and sought a purely practical marriage. Yet, despite his inner struggles, he was able to accept his love for Kate, highlighting his growth as a person.

1) Eloise Bridgerton

Eloise is undoubtedly the wittiest sibling in the Bridgerton household. Throughout the seasons, she has demonstrated her ability to deliver sharp remarks and clever responses, proving her intellect. Despite being compared to her elder sister, she has shown her uniqueness and even caught the attention of Queen Charlotte.

Queen Charlotte recognized her capabilities and entrusted her with the task of uncovering the true identity of Lady Whistledown, which she was eventually able to do. Though she might not seem overtly charming, she possesses a unique charm that captivated Theo. Theo understood her, and their relationship, though short-lived, highlighted Eloise’s complexity as a character.

She constantly criticized society for denying women the same opportunities as men. She was never afraid to voice her opinions, which made her even more likable in Bridgerton.
