"After talking to him for six and a half hours straight, he actually ended up inviting me to Uganda. I checked into the guest house and I saw Joan within my first hour and a half of being there in Uganda," shared Greg.

It was his first meeting with Joan. They chatted "very little bit," and he shared his weight loss journey. He then left Uganda and returned home.

Cut to one and a half years later, he couldn't stop thinking about Joan.

"Like, damn, I let that girl get away, you know, and still to this day, I'm not sure how she found me on social media."

In the latter part of his 90 Day Fiancé introduction, Gergory confessed that the couple might face some issues after Joan arrived. It was because he was living with his mother in Long Island.

He also shared his financial situation.

"I think Joan will definitely be able to adjust to living here. But it's insane. The average starter home on Long Island is probably anywhere from $400,000 to $500,000. I'm nowhere near that position to put down a deposit on a family home, for sure. Nowhere near."

The segment saw Greg reaching his mom's house, where he got her some plain loaves, bacon, and cheddar. He told the cameras how Joan had been a little "skeptical" about his living circumstances.

He mentioned that she "obviously" wanted their own place where they could have privacy. The male cast member added that he and Joan might have to live with his mother for a year or "up to two years."
