"Eliminated to winner" - RuPaul's Drag Race fans react to Suzie Toot winning $50k at LaLaPaRuZa smackdown 

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17 Episode 15 aired on MTV on April 11, 2025.

The episode saw 10 queens returning on stage for a chance at redemption and to prove their worth. This will also give them a shot at winning a $50,000 cash prize.

The lip sync battles were to start with queens going one off on each other in the initial round, which will use the single elimination method. Five queens were sent home this way. The second round made two groups, the first one having two queens and the second having three.

Only one was victorious among the groups, and these two combined, moved to the final round. In the end, we saw Kori and Suzie go against each other, and the latter ultimately won.

The tap dancing queen is loved by many, and fans rushed to support her and expressed their opinions on Twitter about her performance. A fan wrote,

"Only Suzie Toot could go from eliminated to winner in one week."

"Crazy how Suzie won 4 lip syncs this episode," commented another.

"Suzie starting the season winning a top 2 lip sync, not coming close to lip syncing until the pre-finale, and then tearing up the lalaparuza like how can you not say c*nt," wrote another fan.

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17 - Suzie's performance during episode 15

In the first round of this RuPaul's Drag Race episode, the ballot called out Suzie's name. This meant she gets to decide her opponent, and she chose Joella. The latter then picked Training Season by Dua Lipa for their lip sync battle.

Joella served a pop star on a hot platter, but Suzie stole the show. She showed off her new dance moves, and it was interesting to see her in this light, given the fact that she had just been eliminated from the main challenge last week. She then emerged with a post-reveal look that gagged the viewers in her favor.

In the second round of RuPaul's Drag Race, Suzie, who had won the first one, went up against Lucky Starzzz. They competed on Rihanna's song, We Found Love. Even though Lucky was doing a good job in her performance, the judges felt like she brought nothing new to the table.

Her dance routines were very similar to what she did in the previous battle, and that was the reason they promoted Suzie further. Well, another reason was the fact that this drag queen had a trick up her sleeve when she started doing the 'Stanky Legg' by the end, which everyone loved.

The final battle on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17 Episode 15 saw Kori King being pitted against Suzie Toot. The track for their lip sync was decided to be APT by Rosé and Bruno Mars. Suzie was "on fire" as some fans had remarked with her new tap dancing moves, while Kori's performance was focused around the "b**bs reveal."

At the end of RuPaul's Drag Race, even though both performances had a unique element to them, Mama Ru could only crown one winner of the episode's challenge, and she chose Suzie.
