Netflix delivered romance this Valentine's Day in the form of another season of fans' beloved reality TV dating series, Love is Blind. This is a show that brings together several single men and women tired of trying to find love in conventional ways. Contestants form emotional connections in the pods without seeing their partners. As soon as they build a connection strong enough, they get engaged and then get to meet their future spouse for the first time.
In season 8 of Love is Blind, Madison, one of the ladies in the pods, built a strong connection with not one but two men, Alex and Dave. However, the 28-year-old ended up getting engaged and later calling it quits.
After her time on the show, when she saw the show after its release on February 15, she posted a story on Instagram where she talked about how the edited parts of her conversations with the two could have been better.
"It’s definitely edited to show two different versions of me and both guys also brought out different things for me,” she said.
Madison Errichiello opens up about her portrayal in Love is Blind Season 8
On February 14, 2025, Netflix dropped the first six episodes of Love is Blind Season 8, and the show has already created a much-anticipated buzz. While a few made connections strong enough in the beginning to get engaged after a couple of dates, Madison got into a love triangle with Dave and Alex, which ended with her leaving the show unexpectedly.
After the show aired, she got to see herself and the conversations she had with her dates. She felt that the editors made her time in the pod sound a lot flirtier than it actually was.
“I promise that we had more than just a flirty connection,” she said.
The Love is Blind star opened up about how her bonds in the show included much deeper and valued topics in addition with the flirtation here and there.
Love is Blind's Madison talks about the importance of intimate conversations in the pods
After Madison decided to talk about the whole edited section of her time on the show, she also addressed how she was very comfortable with talking about s*x and intimacy. She expressed how she believes it is important for her to understand that angle of her relationship and her partner.
She mentioned, "I’m not afraid to talk about things related to s*x and prefer to be open about it.”
The reason why she might have mentioned this is because the producers of the show usually do not air these conversations before the audience entirely, and she wanted her fans to know about everything that she said on Love is Blind.
