EastEnders July 29th, 2024: Police visits and Tommy’s Troubles rock Walford, Reiss misses Debbie
In this EastEnders episode, Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) threatens his mother, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), who reported him for physical abuse last week. Despite initially believing Tommy would leave, Kat insists on staying calm and watching him at school. Tommy's rough play hurts a twin, and Kat helps him.
Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) tells Reiss that Debbie wants him to be happy, but he is reluctant and upset by Sonia's claims of his devotion to her. Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) demands Reiss repay his "investment", but Reiss is honest. Sonia plans to approach Reiss after seeing his tense conversation with Phil, but she is furious when Reiss admits to stealing from Phil and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), to care for Debbie.
Reiss remembers Debbie's love of sunshine at the morgue and takes her engagement ring before departing. Outside, Reiss and Sonia meet Debbie's parents, Brenda (Nichola McAuliffe) and Hugh Collins (Michael Bertenshaw), who pledge to investigate her death.
EastEnders July 30th, 2024: Will Debbie's parents discover Reiss's truth?
In this episode, Reiss is confronted by his in-laws, Brenda and Hugh, for his suspicious behavior. During the time that Sonia expressed her sorrow, Reiss lied and said that she was simply his tenant. Reiss couldn't expose their genuine relationship to Brenda and Hugh while they were at Sonia's place.
The difference between Brenda and Hugh was that Sonia and Reiss paid Debbie regular visits, unlike Brenda and Hugh. Due to a problem with the bank, Reiss lied about the fees for the care home. Brenda overheard Reiss using Debbie's money for in vitro fertilization (IVF) for Martin Fowler's birthday party. During their confrontation, Brenda revealed to Reiss that she had also contributed to Debbie's account.
During this time, Hugh found out that Sonia was expecting a child, and Brenda accused Reiss of never loving Debbie. Brenda informed Reiss that she would file a report with the authorities regarding the money since she suspected further nefarious activities.
EastEnders July 31st, 2024: Priya confronts Nish
In this episode of EastEnders, yet another altercation takes place between Nish and Priya Nandra-Hart, played by Sophie Khan Levy, as she attempts to provide support for their son, Nugget, played by Juhaim Rasul Choudhury, while he is undergoing kidney dialysis. Ravi Gulati, played by Aaron Thiara, and Nish banned Priya because she slept with Nish for financial gain. Denzel Danes, played by Jaden Ladega, was recruited by Priya to assist her in locating Nugget.
Priya was able to visit the hospital because Nugget had sent Nish and Ravi somewhere else. Although Nugget initially rejected Priya, he ultimately provided her with an update on his condition. When Nish and Ravi interrupted the conversation, a heated argument ensued. Nish threatened Priya, stating that she would never see her children again.
After some time had passed, Priya lured Nish into the Minute Mart and demanded that he confess that he had lied about their romance. Nish's refusal resulted in Priya abandoning him without his medication. Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Vinny's (Shiv Jalota) conspiracy against Nish was unintentionally revealed to him, and he became aware of their betrayal. In what manner will Nish react?
EastEnders August 1st, 2024: Nish plans to ruin Suki's relationship with Eve
Nish overhears a conversation between Suki and their son Vinny (Shiv Jalota), who has been plotting to fleece the dying Nish. Nish overhears this talk when he is held captive and tied in the rear of the Minute Mart by Priya Nandra-Hart (played by Sophie Khan Levy).
Because of this disclosure, a string of intense confrontations and manipulations will take place in the coming episodes. After spending the entire night imprisoned inside the shop, Nish yelled for assistance.
Meanwhile, Priya, who was on the opposite side of the Square, noticed that Nish's phone had an alarm asking him to take his medication. While Nish was at the Minute Mart, Priya teased him with his medicines and told him that no one else was scheduled to work, so it was just the two of them.
She also told him that it was time for him to accept that he had lied about sleeping with her. On the other hand, Nish refused to admit anything and threatened to have Priya imprisoned for false imprisonment.
Ravi Gulati (played by Aaron Thiara) sent Suki and Vinny the news of Nish's disappearance. When Ravi and Vinny entered the Minute Mart, Nish was lying on the ground with Priya supporting and standing beside him.
Suki and Vinny were completely surprised to discover that Nish had been present in the shop while discussing their plan. This revelation occurred when Nish was in the process of firing Priya. The realization that the circumstance was really serious caused shockwaves to run throuh them as they attempted to come to grips with it.
Nish has bigger and bolder plans for Vinny
Suki told Eve that if Nish had heard everything, she should be concerned for Vinny. Eve tried to persuade Suki to abandon the plan, but Suki would not be swayed. Vinny and Ravi looked after Nish at the Panesar residence, where he gave Ravi the contact center business, as Suki observed.
Nish told Vinny he had pleased him and that he had more ambitious plans for him. When Suki claimed that Vinny deserved the business more, Nish insisted that he had other plans for Vinny that were unrelated to her concerns. Suki and Eve were on edge after hearing this frightening comment, wondering what Nish's next action might be.
Nish asks Avani to track an old friend of Suki
Suki stood up for Priya, but he claimed he had been "out cold" when he was detained all night when she tried to work out what Nish knew. Later, Nish ordered his granddaughter Avani (Aaliyah James) to find a woman known as Ayesha Siddhu, an "old friend of Suki's," whom she was much "acquainted with."
This motive of Nish drew questions since it suggested his darker, more evil ambitions.
