As fans of the Dune universe eagerly wait for Denis Villeneuve’s third Dune film, here is Max’s Dune: Prophecy to keep them occupied.
Set almost 10,000 years before the events of Villeneuve’s Dune, the show will give an insight into Bene Gesserit's origin story and the secretive order of the powerful witches who influence the politics of the sci-fi world.
Though Frank Herbert's estate is associated with producing the series, Dune: Prophecy is not based directly on any of the writer’s Dune books; instead, it takes the storyline from the families featured in the books.
Dune: Prophecy is inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's book Sisterhood of Dune.
The series will premiere on November 17, 2024. Let's examine the release schedule and other details.
