The prophecy predicts that the future of humanity is in danger.

However, the two sisters aren't the only key figures in the series, as it also focuses on a charismatic soldier named Desmond Hart who possesses mysterious abilities. Desmond proves his power and skills to Emperor Javicco Corrino, who later makes him the Bashar.

As mentioned above, Dune: Prophecy Season 1 doesn't just explain how the Bene Gesserit sisterhood works under Valya Harkonnen, but also introduces Desmond Hart. Since his introduction, fans have been curious about his origins and past.

However, the biggest mystery about Desmond in Season 1 is the identity of the shadowy figure in his vision. As seen in the Dune: Prophecy Season 1 finale "The High-Handed Enemy", Valya Harkonnen experiences a terrifying vision caused by a powerful virus connected to Desmond.

The vision reveals Desmond undergoing an eye transplant, performed by a Thinking Machine. However, a dark figure is noticed standing behind the machine, leaving fans and Valya Harkonnen to wonder who they are and what might be their significance in the vision.

So, it becomes crucial for the upcoming season to reveal who the shadowy figure is.
