Love After Lockup fans do not approve of the relationship between Julius and Alexis, and it is evident from the critique towards her. They are furious and can not understand why Alexis, who is a perfectly fine individual, destroyed her mental health and wasted her emotions over someone who is trying to play her from the moment he stepped out of prison.
It was revealed in an earlier episode that Alexis has spent a total of $1200 on Julius while he was locked up and even bought him a new phone and SIM card so that they could talk.
However, when he was released, the inmate decided to ride home with his friends instead of Alexis, which bothered her as well as the viewers, who did not approve of the behaviour.
The bombshell came when fans found out that Julius is cheating on her with another woman named Ashley, who is 31 and a mother. However, after meeting with her, he broke it off and officially called Alexis his girlfriend.
But in the recent Love After Lockup episode, as Alexis and Julius were having a date, she confronted him about infidelity, and he confirmed her suspicions. This made her walk out and cry in her car.
Some fans sympathized with her while others criticised her for being with Julius even after she knew that he was not the right person. A Love After Lockup fan on Twitter wrote

Alexis has been the wall that supports Julius, even when he was in prison. Oftentimes, he has talked about how he feels indebted to her because even when nobody was there for him, Alexis was, and she has always stayed loyal.
However, Love After Lockup fans were fuming when he picked Alexis over Ashley for being loyal to him, while he is not loyal at all. This love triangle started in prison when Julius connected with Ashley through social media and thought she was cute.
Her pictures are completely different from how she looks in real life, and fans have pointed that out often. In the episode where they met, Julius broke it off with her and decided to be with his girlfriend Alexis.
As for Alexis, she is having doubts about Julius being disloyal to her, and rightfully so. Her gut feeling says that he is seeing someone else, and when confronted, he melted and spoke the truth right away.
