Dubai Bling Season 3 Episode 5 Recap: LJ and Jwana confront each other

Dubai Bling Season 3 Episode 5 was released on January 8, 2025, on Netflix and is titled 'A Costly Apology.' The episode started with Ebraheem and Zeina trying to hash things out.

In the previous episode, we saw how Hanna and Ebraheem got in on a fight and the latter said he would hold off trademark documents from Zeina until he gets an apology. When Zeina talked to Ebraheem, he made it clear that it would be Hanna who had to apologize.

Elsewhere, Jwama and LJ are not ready to settle their disputes as well which happened years ago. The official bio for the Dubai Bling episode reads,

"Old wounds resurface when Jwana and LJ are forced to confront each other - leading to a catastrophic conversation, with Farhana in the middle."

LJ and Jwana have yet not settled their past differences and that is making it very difficult for them to be in the same room together or even be cordial on Dubai Bling. Farahana thought it would be nice to let the two talk but instantly regretted it as things turned ugly.

Turns out LJ had dated Jwana's ex just to purposefully hurt her. This hurt Jwana who left the conversation in the middle and even refused to walk the Dubai Fashion Week runway if LJ was in it.

Explaining her side of the story, LJ tells Farhana that she only took such a move because Jwana went out with someone that she used to like.

Then we see Bliss about to leave for Kenya on Dubai Bling. He is going to a meditation retreat to clear his mind. However, he wants Danya to think about him and their relationship while he is away. Turns out that he had been feeling neglected in the relationship with her.

This was all revealed in a letter that he left for her before leaving. Danya used to be very expressive and affectionate towards him at the beginning but according to her, it all slowed down as she had kids. However, after reading the letter, Danya wants to talk to Marwan about it when he comes back from his trip.

Danya and Ebraheem had been having issues around the Bestie's Cafe. He wants to sell it but Danya is a co-owner and felt disrespected that he didn't ask her about it.

However, they talked in this episode and this allowed them to give their cafe some time till Danya gets things sorted. Later she revealed that while Bliss was away, he had asked her to handle Karak Inc. This shocked Ebraheem because he didn't think Danya was capable of that.

At the Dubai Fashion Week, Safa meets with Zeina and asks her about a female trainer that was sent to her husband in the last episode. Even though she understands that it was harmless fun, it doesn't sit well with her because Fahad is only allowed to talk to women who are family and not strangers.

As for Ebraheem and Zeina, the fight during the masquerade party with Hanna's last episode ticked him off and sabotaged the deal between them. Now he is unsure about the trademark.

Then the show started and we saw LJ and Model Roz walk the runway. Mona owns the fragrance brand, Kayali, and brought everyone to join for a photoshoot for the same.

Later in the episode, LJ and Danya sat down to talk. Danya told about her marital issues and advised her to withdraw her energy from everything else and invest it in her marriage. While talking about Jwana, LJ says that she will never apologize to her.

Elsewhere, Zeina and Roz go to Skydive Dubai for a fun time. Mona was with them initially but backed out at the final moment.

By the end of the episode, we see that Ebraheem visited Zeina at Mona's photoshoot. He pulled her aside and said that he would pass the trademark to her only if Hanna apologized to him. Zeina did not back down and said she would retort to other means to get that trademark.
