Dope Thief Episode 7: Release date news, time, streaming details, and more

Apple TV+'s Dope Thief, which debuted on March 14, 2025, is based on Dennis Tafoya’s book of the same name. The show's plot follows two longtime best friends who unknowingly bust a major narcotics rig after they decide to rob an unknown house, creating problems for them on the way.

The previous episode saw Ray hanging on for his dear life after he was shot in Sherry's barn in Episode 5. The episode also ended on a cliffhanger where Son shoots Bart in the face, moments after the latter drove his son to the hospital.

The penultimate episode, ie, Dope Thief Episode 7 will be released on Apple TV+ on April 18, 2025, and will likely seal the fate of the father-son duo for the future.

Release and streaming details of Dope Thief Episode 7

Dope Thief Episode 7, titled 'Mussolini,' will be released on Apple TV+ on April 18, 2025, at Midnight ET/9 p.m. PT. Since the show is an Apple TV original, it is the only available option to watch new episodes. Apple TV+ offers plans starting at $9.99/month and also provides a 7-day free trial to its new users.

Since Episode 7 is the penultimate episode of the show, the stakes would be high for Ray, who is reeling from a dangerous gunshot wound. The previous episode saw his father finally taking him to the hospital, but his move ended up getting him shot, at the hands of Son.

The upcoming episode will see Ray learning about his father's fate and Son's involvement in it, which is bound to create tensions. On the other hand, the agents will try new ways to check if Ray knows something more than he is leading.

What happened in Dope Thief Episode 6?

Dope Thief Episode 6 picks off right from where it left, with Ray bleeding from the gunshot wound in front of his father Bart. While Ray needs medical help, and his friend Manny arrives on the scene for help, Bart refuses to take Ray to a hospital as the cartel people have surrounded the barn and are waiting for Ray.

In Ray's delirious state, Son's mother, Xuan, finally checks him out and tells everybody that he needs immediate medical attention. In addition to the fresh gunshot wound on his leg, pus is oozing out from an old chest wound, which could lead to a deadly infection if not treated.

Ray's condition continues to become delirious, and he starts hallucinating. He hallucinates that the cartel guys are not after the value of the money, but the sum of the digits of the money form a secret code, which is important. He asks Manny for the money's location, but Manny refuses to tell him.

After a heartfelt conversation with his father, he finally decides that Ray needs immediate medical attention and drives him to the hospital. Elsewhere, Mina warns everybody and sends help to the hospital—but it is too late. As Ray is wheeled into the hospital, the cartel members surround Bart, Manny, and his guys.

While Bart and Manny manage to take everyone down, the final moments of Dope Thief's latest episode reveal that Son pulled the trigger on Bart, killing him, and the episode ends on a cliffhanger.
