What is the plot of Don't Come Home?
It is a suspenseful drama on supernatural and psychological themes. Returning to her ancestral mansion with her daughter Min (played by Ploypaphas Fonkaewsiwaporn), Varee, played by Woranuch Bhirombhakdi, expects to find refuge there. But, what she and her daughter in-turn find is a series of paranormal activity that make them uneasy.
Min disappears mysteriously, and Varee is forced to embark on a desperate search for the truth. Fah (Pitchapa Phanthumchinda), an in-advanced-stage police officer and pregnant woman, begins to probe into the dark past of the mansion, searching for clues, while she closes in on a secret disturbing legacy haunting the mansion.
Director Woottidanai Intarakaset expressed aspirations that such intensity may arrive with the audience, saying,
“Beyond the plot of Don’t Come Home, I want the audience to enjoy the story, feel the suspense, and grasp the issues we are trying to convey.”
The complex plot promises a very original Thai take on the horror-thriller genre by entwining psychological suspense with rich, character-driven storytelling.
