Dubai Bling stars Farhana and Safa have been in a feud since day 1 of the former entering the show. Netflix dropped new episodes on January 10, 2025, revealing their altercations have only heightened.
In one of the new episodes on Dubai Bling, we see Safa passing a snide remark about Farhana's Birkin bag, claiming the bag was fake and she could have borrowed it from her. This prompted Farhana's comeback.
Farhana told News18 Showsha that she wanted to let the audience know her bag was a real Birkin. She added that Safa "doesn't come from money" and was wealthy only because "she married a rich guy." In Farhana's words:
“Safa doesn’t come from money. She married a rich guy. If she puts herself in my shoes, she can’t survive even for one day. I don’t brag about it because that’s not me. I’m made for glamour. I’m made for fashion. You cannot put someone’s job down and say that she hasn’t made it. I started from the bottom as a make-up artist and you’re saying that I haven’t made it?"
Dubai Bling star Farhana Bodi talks about her Birkin bag
Dubai Bling star Farhana then talked about her Birkin bag and how it was real. She shared about how there is no concept of "borrowing" a Birkin, adding that she didn't want the audience to be misguided by Safa's remarks.
Farhana clarified:
“I did have a problem with Saba calling my Birkin bag borrowed because it’s not! I’ve an account with Hermes, globally! I buy my bags. If I’m borrowing jewellery from brands to wear on the show and collaborating with them and you talk about that, it’s fine. But don’t talk about the things I own."
Farhana continued:
"I don’t want the whole world to think that I borrow my jewelry and bags. Who’s going to even borrow Hermes bags? No one! Not me! And I won’t lend mine to anyone either. It was important for my audience to know the truth and that’s why I gave into the drama."
Dubai Bling star Farhana and Zeina's argument over a Ferrari
In a Dubai Bling episode, Zeina Khoury is shown giving her brand new Ferrari to Farhana. Her reason is she wants to inspire Farhana to buy a Ferrari, too. This again did not sit right with Farhana who claimed all such things were "materialistic". She expressed:
“Zeina gave me a Ferrari and said that maybe it would inspire me to buy one. But that’s not my priority. If I want a Ferrari a Range Rover or a G-Wagon, I can easily get it in Dubai. When these girls make these superficial comments about Birkins and Ferraris, it upsets me. These are materialistic things. Having a Ferrari doesn’t make you successful. You can get a loan and buy one."
Farhana has a son named Aydin from her last marriage. As we've seen on Dubai Bling, she has been having issues for a while now with her ex-husband, who wants to take their child to meet his new girlfriend. This is not okay with Farhana, who is willing to have sole custody of the child. Talking about the matter, Farhana said:
“Aydin is autistic. He needs to get the best of the best therapy, which is very expensive. All the money that I’m saving is for his future. If I want to roll in an expensive car or shoot inside one, I’ve many car companies wanting to collaborate with me.
Talking about Aydin's health, Farhana said:
What matters the most to me is my child’s health. I live the glamorous life today but I hustled for it. They don’t know my journey, so they can keep commenting. I know what I went through."
