Part 1 of Cobra Kai Season 6 saw Tory (Peyton List) joining Cobra Kai and leaving Miyagi-Do after his mother passed away. Now, as the teams find themselves in Barcelona to participate in the Sekai Taikai tournament, there is enough drama that happens in five episodes.
While a pregnant Carmen Diaz (Vanessa Rubio) does face certain health issues, she does not die in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2. Let us now explore in detail what happens to Carmen and the other characters in the second part.
Does Carmen die in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2?
In part 1 of Cobra Kai Season 6, Carmen’s gender reveal party had shown that she and Johnny were having a baby girl. In the second part, Miguel and Johnny receive some distressing news when they learn that a pregnant Carmen had to be rushed to the hospital.
She seems to be critical as their loved ones start worrying about her life. Miguel and Johnny rush back home. However, as Miguel left, a replacement was needed to arrange in his place, and Kenny was then approached for the same.
But Kenny turned out to be skeptical about taking up the offer as he was drugged previously, which induced his diarrhea during the qualifying round of the Barcelona tournament. Kenny had suspected that Anthony LaRusso (Griffin Santopietro) did this to him, but it later turned out that Devon Lee (Oona O'Brien) caused the whole fiasco as she wanted to take Kenny’s spot.
However, Devon ultimately confessed to this act, and Kenny forgave her. He then flew out to join the team in the tournament. It is also revealed that Carmen is safe and sound after her visit to the hospital.
What happened at the tournament in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2?
Part 2 of Cobra Kai Season 6 saw Tory and Robby split up. This essentially affected Robby, and due to his focus not being completely on the tournament, the team seemed to be heading toward disqualification and an early ride back home.
However, Tory then reveals that she is not at all interested in Kwon, as he told Robby. Moreover, she also accuses him of mind games. This makes Robby go all out on Kwon in the mat fight, and eventually it leads to the downfall of Cobra Kai.
However, as the team plans to leave, they learn that one of the dojos has been banned from the tournament as they were using drugs to enhance their performance. This gives Cobra Kai an unexpected chance to get back in the tournament.
The tournament turns into complete chaos with Kwon unfortunately dying. It remains to be seen what implications his death would have on the team, the tournament, and other dojos.
Cobra Kai can be streamed on Netflix.
