From the little we can grasp from the teaser, it seems the Doctor will be compelled to negotiate a universe in which nothing is definite and where conventional strategies of defeating adversaries might not be applicable. It looks like Death and life are no longer the stakes. It's about survival in a game where the rules vary at will take the front stage. However, while the doctor must make difficult decisions, this game will likely also test his very heart and soul.
A desperate plea – the Doctor’s greatest test
