"I have loved you for as long as I can remember, and I always will."

When a confession is this heartwarming, how can Annie deny it? Since they are in love, they share a long-awaited kiss, igniting a joyful moment for viewers. As their relationship begins, Annie proves to be a supportive partner and is happy about Ty’s passion for music.

In return, Ty encourages Annie to pursue her photography dream and even gifted her a camera. So does that mean they are a happy couple now? Well, Sweet Magnolias Season 4 finale didn't confirm if Annie and Ty will continue their relationship as both have their dreams to pursue.

While talking about the show's finale and some of the strongest and sad moments in Sweet Magnolias Season 4, showrunner Sheryl J. Anderson also sheds light on the teenage lovers Ty and Annie.

Anderson explains that teenagers tend to feel their first love will last forever. She explained:

"It's easy to believe that it’s all Disney princesses and starlit moments from here on in. We wanted to have them value their individual dreams, but also look at, ‘What does that do to us as a couple? Can we be mature enough to give each other that space?’"

She continued:

"We know that people are really behind this relationship, but we just thought it would be false to say, ‘And now everything’s fine.’ Because good relationships take work."

Now that Annie and Ty know their dreams, it would be intriguing to see if they are mature enough to support each other and grow. The season 4 finale didn't give them a sweet or happy ending as real relationships face numerous challenges.
