Netflix's Stranger Things actors have influenced fans with their chemistry on screen, but a 2022 Glamour friendship test video verified that their off-screen friendship is just as interesting. In the video, cast members Sadie Sink, Millie Bobby Brown, Maya Hawke, and Noah Schnapp did trust falls, listed pet peeves, and more!

Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown, at one point, proudly asserted,

“We can do really good shared looks.”

This speaks volumes about how they can express strong emotions with no words—a feat Stranger Things fans are well aware of. The pair then proceeded to express such a mutual glance while gasping. Trust us, it was believable!

The 14-million-view video was a treat for fans, giving them a private sense of the on-screen dynamics of their favorite actors. Trust falls showed great rapport, but a hilarious sequence exposed their alleged secret talent for stares.

The actors also jokingly argued over pet peeves such as loud chewing and misremembering song lyrics; their friendships are fun and genuine.

The Glamour friendship test brought out the undeniable chemistry between the cast of Stranger Things and reaffirmed the realness behind their performances.

Brown and Schnapp, who have been friends for more than seven years, finished each other's sentences effortlessly: an almost sibling-like relationship!

Brown confessed near the end of the challenge:

“I think we’ve gotten a lot closer.”

This was also the feeling throughout the video when they sweetly complimented each other, with Brown telling Noah Schnapp that while she hadn't complimented him directly in such a manner before,

“Noah, you make every room light up with your charisma.”

Hawke and Sink, the cast's newer additions, also felt a strong bond. Their talent for expressing deep emotion has served them well in their Stranger Things work.

“That’s our Stranger Things hidden talent,” Brown quipped.

Viewers admired their natural chemistry, especially during moments of playfulness. The clip gave a glimpse into how years of shooting a supernatural drama have translated these on-screen friendships into real life.

Fans react to the cast’s bond

The friendship test video hit a chord with viewers, who have been with many of the cast members since the show premiered in 2016.

Fans were in awe of the group's bond, with one leaving a comment,

“It's crazy how Stranger Things has brought them all together and they're all lifelong friends.”

Another was impressed with Brown and Schnapp's bond, saying,

“Millie and Noah being so confident in their friendship and competitive but being more awkward to give compliments is everything to me rn.”

Fans also enjoyed the comedy within the video, especially when the cast was using emojis to tell others about themselves.

As Sadie Sink (Max) and Maya Hawke (Robin) chatted with each other for an emoji round, they said—

“You make me emotional.”

Following that, a fox emoji brought a fun debate. These carefree moments reminded viewers why the cast is still one of the most popular on television.

As the show heads into its last season, fans hold on to these moments of the cast's real friendships, knowing their off-screen camaraderie has played a big part in making the show so successful. The Glamour friendship test confirmed that the actors' relationships go way beyond Hawkins, Indiana.

Stranger Things can be streamed on Netflix.
