The Spanish drama series Wrong Side of The Tracks (originally Entrevías) has emerged as one of the popular shows on Netflix. It follows the gripping story of a war veteran who doesn't hesitate to fight crimes his way when his family is in danger.

Who is Irene in Netflix's Wrong Side of The Tracks Spanish TV series?

As previously mentioned, Irene is the adoptive granddaughter of Tirso Abantos and the beloved daughter of Jimena in Wrong Side of The Tracks. The teenager had a tragic fate in Season 3 when she died while saving Tirso from a violent cop named Romero.

Irene's journey begins with her secret relationship with Nelson, one of the men involved in drug trafficking. Despite knowing the truth, Irene couldn't stop loving him and the two began a relationship.

When Tirso and Jimena discovered Nelson and Irene's relationship, they initially didn't like it as Nelson was involved in illegal business. Additionally, he had once cheated on Irene with a gang leader but after learning about Irene's pregnancy Nelson came back to her.

Romero wanted Tirso to surrender and threatened him with a gun. To ensure her grandfather's safety, Irene stepped in and took the bullet for Tirso. The entire family was devastated by the loss of Irene who had died, leaving her infant behind in Wrong Side of The Tracks Season 3.

Tirso took revenge over Irene's death in Wrong Side of The Tracks Season 4

Wrong Side of The Tracks Season 4 begins with Tirso still haunted by the murder of his granddaughter Irene. Six months have passed but he's far from moving on and even talks to Irene by assuming she's still alive and with him.

After spending months isolating himself, Tirso finally stepped out and hasn't forgotten about Romero being responsible for killing Irene. The officer has vanished since the tragic incident and Tirso is doing everything to find him.

As seen in the last episode, Tirso shows up at Rafael's house and asks him about Romero's whereabouts. Since the corrupt officer is the family of Rafael, Tirso wants him to reveal where he's hiding.

Tirso says "That s** murdered my granddaughter. I won't stop looking until I find him. You tell him". Later in the episode, Tirso finally confronts the culprit and takes revenge for Irene's death.
