Dante said in the Devil May Cry trailer that he works ''better with music'' and so does the upcoming Netflix series. Netflix has released the official soundtrack for the series, and it is set to compliment the show beautifully. Viewers are going to see Dante fight demons in the new animated adaptation of the Devil May Cry game, releasing on 3rd April 2025.
The showrunner, Adi Shankar, announced in 2018 about the show's production. The Capcom game has been enjoyed by users worldwide the show is almost here to bring Dante's world to life.
The Devil May Cry series on Netflix is based on the Capcom game of the same name. The story revolves around Dante, a demon hunter, fighting demons in a world that is on the verge of invasion. He is part demon himself, which gives him his superhuman powers. The invasion Dante is fighting to prevent is also going to be by demons led by White Rabbit.
However, the main villain of the show (and games) is Vergil, Dante's identical older brother who has gone over to the demon side. There are going to be eight episodes in the first season of the show. While it has not been revealed which song will play in which episode, we know that Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle) – by Limp Bizkit is the title track for the show.

Devil May Cry Official Soundtrack:
We can know which song plays at what time only after the show releases, but here is the complete list of songs that make up the Devil May Cry soundtrack:
Afterlife - Evanescence
The song is an excellent addition to the show's soundtrack as it highlights the struggle Dante faces as he fights demons to save humanity. His constant battle to ensure good prevails over bad and the never-ending violence in the show is beautifully portrayed through Afterlife.
Last Resort (Power Glove Version) - Papa Roach
While the song has an energetic beat and is popular as rap metal, it speaks about one's mental struggles and suicide. The beat and bass of the song would be perfect for a scene introducing Dante or him fighting, but it will also highlight the possible mental health struggle Dante goes through as a demon hunter.
Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle) - Limp Bizkit
Anyone who has heard Rollin' has to admit that the song has a power of its own. It was used for the professional wrestler The Undertaker's entrance in WWE. And for Devil May Cry, it goes perfectly with Dante's character and would be an exciting addition to a scene where he shows off his swordsman skills.
Guerrilla Radio - Rage Against The Machine
This song, originally a symbol of resistance, is an interesting choice for the show as it deals heavily with invasions and thirst for power. Guerrilla Radio fits into the narrative perfectly, and it will be exciting to see which scene will feature the song.
Devil Trigger (Power Glove Version) - Casey Edwards
Devil Trigger was in the Devil May Cry 5 game as Nero's battle theme and is back to be a part of the show's soundtrack, this time with Power Glove. It highlights Nero's desire to get rid of his demon side and be good.
Butterfly - Crazy Town
Butterfly is a song about a man realizing how he needs to improve in life after he falls in love with a woman. Among all the songs focusing on violence and rebellion, this song might add some fun and vulnerability.
Unknown Track - Green Day
A Green Day song is part of the soundtrack, but the name has not been revealed. They are a rock band, so hopefully, the song that is in the soundtrack will fit into the storyline appropriately.
Bury the Light (Power Glove Version) - Casey Edwards
Bury the Light is Dante's boss theme in the game, and we might see it in the series when we see him as the boss of the Devil May Cry organisation.
Ghost (feat. Power Glove) - Gunship
Ghost is another vulnerable song in the soundtrack that is about two lovers that are soon going to leave their physical bodies and enter a different realm. The song might be a part of an emotional scene to add more depth.
Conclusion
Fans are eager to see characters from the game come to life and fight the battles in Devil May Cry. Dante's character is also something fans have been waiting to see on screen. It is one thing to play the character and a completely different experience to watch him in a series. The soundtrack promises tracks that will amplify the scenes and complement the storyline.
Devil May Cry will be released on Netflix on 3rd April 2025.
