"Devastating": Beast Games Player 831 opens up about his son's brain disease

Beast Games latest episode aired on January 30, 2025, on Prime Video. The eighth episode of the game show featured Mr Beast inviting the top 10 players' family members to Beast City.

The finalists were allowed to meet their loved ones and have some moments together. Player 831, aka Jeff (Jeffrey Randall Allen), met his wife and older son, Jack. Seeing them both, Jeff got emotional as he hugged them.

Beast Games Player 831 explained why he needed to win the game show. He mentioned his younger son, Lucas, who had a brain disease, Creatine Transporter Deficiency, for whom he wanted to find a cure and help him.

"It's a rare brain disease that's currently incurable and his brain doesn't get the energy it needs to function and develop. So, he's not like your everyday seven-year-old. You know, developmentally, he's probably under two. It's just a devastating disease," shared Jeff.

Beast Games Episode 8: Top 10 players met their friends and family members

Beast Games Season 1 Episode 8 revealed the top 10 participants. Mr Beast welcomed the family and friends of the participants in the city. Everyone was overjoyed after seeing their friends, family members, and sons and daughters.

One of the participants, Player 831, Jeff, got to meet his wife and son, Jack. While meeting them, he shared about his younger son, Lucas' brain condition. It was a Creatine Transporter Deficiency. He mentioned that it was a "rare" brain disease and was "incurable."

He further stated that the condition was that the brain was not getting the required energy for various functions such as development.

However, Jeff mentioned that it was a "devastating" disease. He added that he wanted to cure the disease, and with that, he wanted to save "hundreds" of others from across the world by helping them.

The top 10 players include: Player 424 (Courtney Ferris), Player 453 (Michael Robert House), Player 566 (JC), Player 817 (Queen), Player 830 (Twana Barnett) Player 831 (Jeffrey Randall Allen), Player 930 (Patrick)Player 937 (Emma Nelson), Player 947 (Yesenia Hernandez Jaime) and Player 974 (Gage.)

Further in the segment, Player 947 (Yesenia Hernandez Jaime) shared that even though she also wanted to win the prize pot, she wanted Jeff to win the $5 million. She wondered if his family deserved the cash more than she did.

Jeff also introduced his son Jack to Mr Beast and told him his son was "Beast Games Coach" for him. He also mentioned that his son was the reason why he knew everything that he knew" about Mr Beast and his videos. When the host asked Jack whether that was true, he agreed and said he was the reason why his father applied for the game show.
