"I heard her crying and him stomping around. Then I heard a loud crash in her apartment, like someone was thrown on the floor. A few minutes later, I could hear her whimpering."

When the two arrived at Soho House, Cachay complained about Brooks being a "stoner" in front of a worker. A few hours later, guests at the club reported a water leak from Cachay's room, and when they checked, she was already dead.

The Death by Fame episode also highlights Nicholas Brooks' careless behavior at the time of the crime. When he returned to the room around 5:30 a.m., Brooks acted shocked and devastated about the murder but was arrested.
