22-year-old Jasmine was from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was reported to be missing during the Thanksgiving week of November 2022, which worried her loved ones.

As per Dateline, Jazzy’s mother shared that nobody had seen her daughter since her great-grandmother’s death, and became worried. The family soon speculated a foul play since it was uncharacteristic of Pace to shut off everyone.

Her cousin, Jacqueline White, told Dateline:

"Something’s wrong. She’s not picking up the phone and it’s very unlike Jasmine to not be there for everyone."

Due to their suspicions, Jasmine’s family began to track her digital footprint through the 'MyChevy' app to get hold of her. White told Dateline:

"Everyone has an electronic footprint. There are clues everywhere."

It was also reported that it was Jasmine's mother, Catrina, who found Jasmine's car abandoned near Mountain Creek Road.

As per Dateline, Jasmine’s family traced her digital footprint and reached Jason Chen’s apartment at 110 Tremont Street. They broke into his apartment and found Jasmine’s credit cards and Driver’s license. Jason Chen and Jasmine had a complicated relationship. As per Fox, they met through an online dating app.
