The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2, also known as The Book of Carol, brings Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride back as Daryl and Carol, living their best lives since season 1 ended in October.
In this second season of the Walking Dead spin-off, fans will find that Daryl is stuck in France, and as half the world has fallen apart, his BFF Carol sets off to find him with a friendly stranger.
A spin-off of The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon Season 2 follows the aftermath of the finale of the original series. The original show of The Walking Dead ran for nearly two decades before concluding its 11 seasons in 2022. Season 1 sets up the storyline for season 2 as Daryl Dixon finds himself washing up alone on the shores of France, with no idea of how he got there.
Season 2 of Daryl Dixon will premiere in the US on AMC and AMC+ on September 29, 2024, at 9 PM ET/PT. In the UK, it will air on Sky Max and NOW in October 2024, with the date to be confirmed.

Daryl Dixon Season 2 had been commissioned even before the first season hit the screens. In a statement by the then president of entertainment and AMC Studios, AMC Networks, Dan McDermott said:
"We can’t wait to bring Dead City fans back to the epicenter of Manhattan for more zip-lining action with Maggie and Negan. And, ahead of its debut, we’re thrilled to double down on Daryl as we bring the apocalypse to France.”

Cast returning to Daryl Dixon Season 2
Norman Reedus is set to reprise his role as Daryl, along with Melissa McBride reprising her role as Carol. Daryl Dixon Season 2 will feature such characters as Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi, and Eriq Ebouaney.

Daryl Dixon goes to Europe in season 1 and continues the storyline. In season 2, Daryl is again moved to a new location, living in a new community in France, inside the beloved location of Mont Saint-Michel.
Season 2 of the show continues with Norman Reedus's Daryl fighting his way out from dingy, land-lashing, zombie-infested Europe.
After being washed ashore by waves in France, he tries to fathom where he has come from and will not give up until he finds a way back home. Thus, this upcoming season will be laced with surprises and unexpected turns.
