Dark Winds Season 3 release schedule
Keeping up with the previous chapters, Dark Winds Season 3 will feature eight episodes to be released weekly. The season will debut on AMC and AMC+ on March 9, 2025, and will continue to air one new episode every Sunday for the next seven weeks.

What is Dark Winds Season 3 about?
In the new season, Lt. Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee come across a case that challenges their faith and beliefs. When two young boys go missing in the town with no concrete evidence, the two are thrust into action to investigate the disappearance.
The season will also focus on Bernadette Manuelit, who has joined the Border Patrol, only to realize that the job is more difficult than she thought. The official synopsis for the third season reads:
“[Season 3] picks up six months after the events of Season 2 and follows Lt. Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee as they investigate the disappearance of two boys, with only an abandoned bicycle and blood-stained patch of ground left in their wake.”
“Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito attempts to settle into her new life 500 miles from home with the Border Patrol, but stumbles across a conspiracy involving human and drug smuggling with far-reaching implications.”
Created by Graham Roland, the show stars Zahn McClarnon as Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee, and Jessica Matten as Bernadette Manuelito. The rest of the cast includes Jenna Elfman as FBI Agent Sylvia Chase, Raoul Max Trujillo as Budge, and Alex Meraz as Border Agent Ivan Muños.
The new season also features Tonantzin Carmelo as Eleanda Garza, Christopher Heyerdahl as Dr. Reynolds, Bruce Greenwood as Tom Spenser, Terry Serpico as Border Patrol Senior Chief Ed Henry, Phil Burke as Michael Halsey, and Derek Hinkey as Shorty Bowlegs.
