In Episode 2, we saw some major developments. Fisk has been elected as the mayor, but he is also seen struggling to keep his personal life from falling apart. Matt is trying hard to lead a normal life without going back to his vigilante ways. But failing. And to top it, there's corruption within the NYPD.

So, what can we expect in Episode 3? Let’s explore and make some predictions.

Daredevil: Born Again - Matt’s struggle and Fisk in the Mayor's seat

Matt has been doing his best to stick to the legal route. He defended Hector Ayala, aka White Tiger, in court. He is trying to prove that the system could still work. But when has Matt ever been able to ignore his instincts for long?

There was a brutal attack on Nicky Torres in Episode 2. Hector was framed as a cop killer when he actually tried to save a life. Matt is dead set on proving his innocence. But it's the cops who are running the show now. So, it’s only a matter of time before he suits up again.

Matt's altercation with those corrupt officers towards the end of Episode 2 further shows us his ongoing internal conflict. He is torn between performing his legal duties and letting his vigilante instincts take over.

In Episode 3, we can expect Matt to face more challenges when it comes to this duality. He could potentially be accepting his Daredevil persona more openly. This is so he can combat the corruption in the city.

As for the Kingpin, he finally has what he’s always wanted. He has power over the city. But maybe things are not what he had hoped they would be. His wife, Vanessa, isn’t really thrilled with their new life. Also, we might be getting more insights into who Adam is.

We also see that Fisk and his wife have sought therapy. Who they've gone to, you ask? Well, it's none other than Matt's new romantic interest, Heather Glenn. Needless to say, that’s gonna get messy really quickly. We might be getting deeper insights into Fisk's vulnerabilities. We might get a picture of his challenges with maintaining his power.

In Daredevil: Born Again, Heather Glenn is an interesting character. Episode 3 may show us how her relationship with Fisk and his wife influences her actions and decisions. She could be in a risky situation. She will have to figure out the moral complexities of her associations.

Also, Karen Page is back in New York. She and Matt left things in a complicated place. And now they have to face each other again. Will she appear in the upcoming episode? Will they find a common ground, or is this just going to make everything worse? Only time will tell.

Another threat for Fisk is the introduction of BB Urich. She is an ambitious journalist connected to Fisk's past. She could possibly start digging into the hidden facets of Fisk's administration.

All in all, the corruption and violence on the streets of New York might make Daredevil in Daredevil: Born Again seek out alliances to take down the corrupt institutions.
