Buck Cashman, sometimes known as Bullet, first appeared in Daredevil #250 in 1987 as a government agent with superhuman abilities such as incredible speed and strength. He worked for powerful figures such as Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, in roles that frequently involved manipulation and deception to benefit their bosses.

Daredevil was able to prevent the assassination of a man with toxic waste in order to aid environmentalists. Despite being detained, Bullet used his government connections to avoid punishment, demonstrating his close relationship with power in Daredevil: Born Again.

Bullet solidified his position in the criminal underworld over time. He joined a number of criminal organizations and even developed a link with Carnage's Phage symbiote. He became a powerful force while influenced by the symbiote, but he eventually broke free and went back to being a mercenary.

Despite his harsh character, Bullet had a more human side, especially in his bond with his son, Lance. His story revolves around crime, betrayal, and shifting allegiance, making him a dangerous and unpredictable figure in the Marvel Universe. Bullet, with his background of brutality and political manipulation, is a complex and lethal character on Daredevil: Born Again.
