As the first season of Daredevil: Born Again is currently about to stream its fifth and sixth episodes this Tuesday, the filming for the second season is underway. As only four episodes of this season are currently accessible, we don't know how this season is going to set up the second one.
However, showrunner Dario Scardapane recently confirmed that Muse, the serial killer artist seen briefly in the first episode and teased in the fourth one will loom over season 2 too. However, the latest leaked set images have fans excited because the new suit is supposedly inspired by the popular 2010 crossover event "Shadowland".
Unlike the usual red costume, the Daredevil costume seen in the leaked set images is black, very similar to the one we saw in the sixth episode of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, "Duel with the Devil".
Explaining the costume seen in the leaked set image of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2:
As seen in the leaked set images, it seems Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will see Matt Murdock go through a grueling personal journey that will probably be set up in the finale of the ongoing season. It also should be noted that this season may very well begin streaming on Disney+ after the events of Avengers: Doomsday.
Some believe that, like Avengers: Infinity War, Doomsday will conclude with Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom winning and remaking the world based on his image. This way, the MCU might adapt the 2010 Marvel Comics event "Shadowland".
Explaining the Shadowland event that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 might be adapting:

Released in 2010, Shadowland was a massive crossover event for all of Marvel street-level crime fighters including, Spider-Man, White Tiger, Moon Knight, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. In this event, Daredevil has returned to Hell's Kitchen, New York from Japan as the new leader of The Hand. He becomes more violent, crosses the line, and kills his nemesis Bullseye.
Heroes like Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Moon Knight, and Iron Fist band together to end The Man Without Fear's new reign of terror. However, soon they realize that things are not as simple as they seem Matt's change in his crimefighting methods and attire has a deeper meaning. The synopsis for this popular storyline reads:
"What happens when Daredevil becomes the Marvel Universe's greatest villain? Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, The Punisher, Moon Knight, Elektra, Luke Cage and more must band together to save the soul of New York City from a Man Without Fear gone mad!"
Is Born Again Season 2 an adaptation of the Shadowland event?
For now, nothing can be said. The four episodes of Born Again that are currently accessible feature very little shout outs to the overall MCU. However, some Easter eggs referencing Ant-Man and Spider-Man can be found in the first three episodes. However, considering that Avengers: Doomsday is releasing next year, Victor Von Doom may have something to do with Matt Murdocck's turn to the dark side.
However, most likely, it is possible that the series might just be taking the black suit from the comics and using it for a different and possibly more grounded storyline altogether.
"In Marvel Television’s 'Daredevil: Born Again', Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course."
