Viewers discretion: Heavy spoiler ahead!
Let's have a look at what we know about the two episodes.
Matt Murdock meets Yusuf Khan: Daredevil: Born Again, Episode 5 recap
The episode opens with the city celebrating St. Patrick's Day while Matt Murdock visits the New York Mutual to source funds for his law firm. It is here where he meets Yusuf Khan (proxy for Mr. Steven Aldrich, the bank manager), and he introduces himself as an assistant bank manager of the New York Mutual.
In a lighthearted conversation while Yusuf Khan reviews Murdock's loan application, he asks him why he is not wearing green and offers him a bowl of candy. Meanwhile, their conversation is interrupted by a message on Yusuf Khan's phone from Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), his daughter who is currently in California.
Yusuf Khan points out that there might be some issues with his loan application as the expanding plan clashes with the firm being over-leveraged. Murdock explains how difficult it is for a common man to fight against a system when everybody is conspiring against the client and that's the reason why they are over-leveraged. However, Yusuf Khan rejects his loan application as he utters,
"Your compassion and willingness to take risks are the very qualities that make you an excellent defense attorney, but unfortunately, they are the same reasons that you do not meet New York Mutual's criteria for approval."
Murdock leaves the office when a car pulls up, and men with guns and other ammunition get down. The conversation between them proves that they were preparing to loot the bank.
Matt Murdock vs. the bank robbers: Daredevil: Born Again, Episode 5 recap
The masked robbers enter the New York Mutuals building, hitting anyone on their way, and the robbers instruct,
"Everyone freeze, Hands in the f****** air. Get on the floor."
While Murdock was on his way back to his home, he heard the robbers' brutal instructions to the hijacked people and their cries for help. He asks Kirsten McDuffie to call 911 for help. Yes! As a vigilante, Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, can sense danger from miles away.
On the other hand, Yusuf Khan tries to alert the police; however, he fails to do so and is captured by the robbers. Murdock reenters the building as the robbers ask him to kneel and put his hands up. Murdock tries to analyze the entire situation when he gets hit by the robbers.
Murodck, with his insane hearing skills, overhears the robber's plan and tries to corrupt their plans by crafting another with Yusuf Khan. Murdock figures out that Devlin and his team of robbers are interested in procuring a diamond from the vault.
Meanwhile, Detective Kim and the NYPD officers surround the building and try to break into it. Devlin calls Detective Kim and asks her to plant a secured vehicle (APV) for their smooth escape in return for the two hijacked people's lives.
Murdock then excuses him to go to the loo when he takes down two of Devlin's men while Yusuf Khan tries to kill time with random facts about the vault (as instructed by Murdock previously).
Murdock and Yusuf Khan finally get access to the vault system and come across 1273 safety deposit boxes. With less time on their hands, Murdock manages to secure a key from the dead robber. Yusuf Khan opens the 407 box, and voila, they get the diamond.
Murdock takes the diamond so that he can bargain for the lives of the hijacked people with it. He becomes the 'hostage negotiator.' Even though Devlin initially does not want to bargain and begins a countdown to shoot Murdock, he swiftly throws the diamond to (alleged) Devlin's men.
Meanwhile, the NYPD force breaks in, and in between the chaos, Devlin wears an officer's clothes and tries to escape. However, he is swiftly taken down by Murdock in an iconic Daredevil style. But where's the diamond? The scene shifts to the fake hostage, who thought that she had the valuable diamond but was disappointed to get some candies in it.
By the end of the episode, Murdock meets Yusuf Khan in the New York Mutual's office, and while Yusuf invites him home for dinner, he finds the diamond in the bowl of candies. This 39-minute standalone episode was filled with action-packed and nail-biting moments.
Angela is kidnapped by Muse: Daredevil: Born Again, Episode 6 recap
In the next episode, we find the people in the city are quite afraid of the Muse's graphic and gory artworks all across landmarks. Matt is still haunted by his flashbacks of his horrific past. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, the newly appointed mayor of New York City, meets Luca in his office. Luca was asked to pay Viktor 1.8 million, which Fisk promised to give back to Luca by the end of the week. Luca, however, is not impressed by the setup, and he leaves the office.
On the other hand, Heather Glenn talks about her upcoming book on vigilantes with Matt Murdock when he asks her to stay out of the matter. On the other hand, John Santini from the Sanitation Department meets Fisk and informs him about the increase in Muse's graphic, human blood-infused art all over the city.
Angela, Hector Ayala's niece, meets Murdock in his office, where she reveals that The White Tiger, aka Hector Ayala, was investigating some case that might have caused his death. She asks for Angela's help, but the conversation does not go as planned.
Angela was quite disappointed with Murdock; thus, she decided to investigate her uncle's strange death all by herself. On the other hand, Fisk meets all the members of NYPD in his office and later asks Chief Gallo to create a task force consisting of corrupt cops and make them find Muse. At a party, we see Fisk chatting with Swordsman (Jack Duquense).
Meanwhile, as Angela is on her own trying to investigate The White Tiger's death, she gets kidnapped by the Muse.
Daredevil: Born Again, Episode 6 recap: Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, saves Angela

When Murdock is informed about Angela's kidnapping case by Soledad, he wastes no time to save Angela. Murdock dons his Daredevil suit and leaps across the buildings. Meanwhile, Muse carries Angela's senseless body on his shoulder to what seems like his underground studio. Muse then slowly injects Angela with some steroids and begins his process of turning her into a gory art just like others.
On the other hand, Fisk returns to Adam in the underground prison with an axe in his hand. After a violent clash between the two, Fisk manages to brutally kill Adam by smashing his head as he shouts, 'Mine' (Vanessa).
In an iconic showdown, Murdock, aka Dardevil, knocks down Muse smoothly. Muse tries to defend himself with a knife, but Daredevil manages to take him down. He then revives Angela, but Muse escapes the scene. Murdock calms down Angela when she recognizes him as Daredevil; he assures her, 'It's okay; I am here.'
Now that Daredevil is back in his masked avatar, Muse escaped the scene, and Fisk has tortured Adam; the next two episodes will unravel several twists. To know more about what happens next, watch Daredevil: Born Again, Episode 7, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 9 PM ET on Disney+.
