It’s a great time for Daredevil fans as Charlie Cox is making his comeback as Matt Murdock on the small screens. As Netflix’s Daredevil is making its journey into the world of Marvel, fans would be more than happy to see the return of familiar faces and the addition of new ones to the cast.
Daredevil: Born Again premiered on March 4, 2025, with its first two episodes. The show follows Matt Murdock as it is revealed that Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) has become successful in running as the mayor of New York.

Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock
Charlie Cox returns as the enigmatic vigilante, Daredevil. While a certain tragedy had caused Murdock to leave his vigilante days behind him, the rise of new criminals again made him get back to what he did besides being a lawyer by day.
Cox had previously appeared in cameo roles for other Marvel projects, including Echo, She-Hulk, etc. However, Daredevil: Born Again marks his first full-fledged Marvel show where he is the lead.
Jon Bernthal as The Punisher
Jon Bernthal will be featured as the Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again. A vigilante just like Daredevil, the Punisher’s main difference with him is the way the two approach criminals. The Punisher is significantly more ruthless than Daredevil, and that has led to friction between them in the past.
However, Marvel’s show will have the two reunited, though it remains unclear how many scenes the Punisher will have. While talking about their scenes together, Cox had mentioned to ComicBookMovie.com
“He has a couple of really great scenes, potentially iconic moments. They're an absolute joy to shoot! I feel like Jon and Charlie are very different people, but Daredevil and Frank are much more similar to one another. So, it's fun to play with that.”

Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk
The Kingpin returns in Daredevil: Born Again, and Vincent D’Onofrio reprises his role. While Daredevil had previously sent him to jail for a brief period of time, the show reveals that he is back, and he is stronger than ever now.
Daredevil: Born Again, it shows D’Onofrio as New York's mayor, and that means he now has unrelenting power and authority. It would be interesting to see how Cox’s Daredevil now faces him as he continues his criminal activities even as the mayor.

Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page
Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page also comes back in Daredevil: Born Again. Netflix’s show introduced Karen as a client of Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock. After being implicated in a murder she did not commit, Karen is then helped by Nelson and Murdock and eventually starts working with them at their firm.
While Murdock and Karen were shown to be romantic in Netflix’s Daredevil, this new Marvel show establishes that they have parted ways. Deborah Ann Woll has previously starred in Mother's Day, True Blood, Seven Days in Utopia, etc.
Elden Henson as Franklin "Foggy" Nelson
Matt's oldest friend Foggy makes a short-lived comeback with Daredevil: Born Again, and Elden Henson is back to play him. Nelson and Matt were shown to be inseparable since they met at their college, and despite being his oldest and best friend, Nelson was skeptical about Matt moonlighting as Daredevil.
Henson has previously worked on projects like Cast Away, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Killers of the Flower Moon, etc.
Wilson Bethel as Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter
Dex, also known as Bullseye, made his first appearance in the Netflix series Daredevil's third season. Fisk had hired him to ruin the reputation of Murdock, and he had temporarily succeeded in doing so. He is shown to be a former FBI agent who has terrible issues of his own. Daredevil: Born Again brings back Wilson Bethel as Dex, and it now remains to be seen what new things he has up his sleeve with Fix now the mayor.
Bethel has also worked on projects like Dixie, All Rise, etc.
