When Daemon Targaryen reached Harrenhal, Alys Rivers (who's mentioned as a witch in Martin's book) took him to a tree known as the weirwood tree, which led Daemon to see an important vision about the upcoming events during and after the Dance of the Dragons.

Those visions are more than hallucinations, as they not only connect the dots with Game of Thrones but also provide a glimpse at what could possibly happen to the Targaryens during their quest.

The first thing that Daemon witnesses in his vision is the three-eyed raven, who's also believed to be the Bloodraven (Brynden Rivers). He then sees the White Walkers with their army, linking with an old dream about the dangers coming to Westeros.

Daemon then sees a battlefield with bloodshed and a dead dragon, which hints at the deadly outcomes of the battle between the Targaryens. Post that glimpse, Daemon Targaryen falls and starts drowning in his vision and then witnesses a comet and three dragon eggs.

on's vision also included Daenerys Targaryen with three dragon babies, also seen at the end of Game of Thrones season 1. Daemon then sees himself walking to a room where Rhaenyra Targaryen is sitting on the Iron Throne, signifying that she's worthy to claim the position. Lastly, Daemon Targaryen confronts Helaena Targaryen in his vision, who tells him to watch his actions and reminds him about the upcoming dangers, including the Dance of the Dragons.

Daemon Targaryen's vision majorly links the upcoming events in House of the Dragon season 3 with Game of Thrones, hinting that the outcome of the Civil War will be everything the Targaryens didn't expect.

The curse of Harrehal is directly linked to the Harrenhal castle, one of the most cursed locations in the kingdom of Westeros. The castle's bad reputation goes back to when it was under construction, and a king named Harren the Black mixed his blood into the mortar.

Following that, several laborers died while building the castle, which intensified the fear of people around the castle. The curse began after Aegon Targaryen burned the Harrenhal castle through his dragon, causing Harren Black and his family to die inside the building.

Following their deaths after Aegon's conquest, hardly any family could live happily in the castle. Most of the family members would die by tragic means, people also started talking about witnessing supernatural beings in the castle.

When Daemon went inside the Harrenhal castle, he also had visions about the upcoming events and possible aftermath of the Civil War between the Targaryens, many of which showed him intense bloodshed, loss of dragons, and even his own death from drowning.

House of the Dragon season 2 has concluded with eight episodes and has set the stage for season 3, which is expected to arrive late in 2025 or 2026.
