The story is set in the cutthroat world of a Washington, D.C. college for the elite. It is about two conniving step-siblings, who will stop at nothing to keep their crown of popularity. The show’s lineup features Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, and Savannah Lee Smith.

Cruel Intentions arrived on to the screens on November 21, 2024, on Prime Video. But, the road to this show hasn't been smooth. It was only in April 2023, the show got the green light. The filming kicked off in Toronto just a couple of months later.

Cruel Intentions is brought to life by Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman. It is inspired by the iconic 1999 film, which itself is a twist on the 1782 novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.

In Cruel Intentions Episode 1, Alpha, throws us into Delta Phi sorority’s reign. It is led by Caroline. A Spring Formal flashback introduces us to tangled romances. There are also hazing scandals and a showdown with Jenny Davenport.

Lucien is a smooth Alpha Gamma frat star. But, he is caught in a dangerous deal. He has to seduce Annie Grover, the VP’s daughter. That’s in exchange for a night with Caroline.

Meanwhile, Cece’s nervy mishap with Professor Chadwick hints at more trouble ahead. The opener has it all - seduction, betrayal, and scandal.

Episode 2: Beta

Episode 2 of Cruel Intentions turns up the heat at Manchester College. Greek life is all about power plays and deception.

At Delta Phi, the sisters vote to invite Annie Grover to President’s Night. They hope she’ll help clean up their hazing scandal. Caroline faces fallout from humiliating Rourke. She loses crucial support for her big event.

Lucien is tasked with wooing Annie into the fold, but flips the script. He joins her anti-hazing crusade instead. The night ends in chaos. Alliances are shattered. Caroline vows revenge.

Episode 3: Gamma

After President Night's chaos, Caroline rallies Delta Phi with a motivational speech. She declares that their legacy is unshaken. But, her plan has a twist. She suggests that Scott be the next Alpha Gamma president.

Blaise enlists Caroline to help bring down the dethroned Blandsman. Cece steps in. She weaponizes seduction and blackmail to secure Scott's win.

Beatrice basks in her newfound fame. But, Annie struggles with online trolls calling her a “nepo baby.” Lucien charms Annie with some poolside rebellion. But gets interrupted by blaring alarms.

Back at Delta Phi, Caroline surprises everyone by letting anti-Greek protesters party. This leaves Beatrice fuming. And toxic truths bubble to the surface.

Episode 4: Delta

The campus witnesses more power plays and betrayals. This episode opens on a mysterious note with Lucien silently watching Annie sleep in her room. This scene sets campus gossip ablaze.

Annie is caught in Caroline’s manipulation and a kiss between her and Lucien takes a wild turn when a recording is made.
