DC's iconic monstrous and ruthless squad, the Creature Commandos is just a few days away from debuting on our TV screens. The news of this American adult animated television series came out in 2023 when James Gunn and Peter Safran joined DC Studios as its co-CEOs.
Rooted in the beloved DC comics, Creature Commandos is set after the events of Peacemaker Season 1 (2022), after which Amanda Waller decided to step away from risking human lives. Instead, she forms a new black ops team of monsters, filled with rage and brutality.
Similar to the DC comics, the team of selected misfits is led by General Rick Flag Sr., a seasoned military leader. Flag Sr. will be introduced to the ruthless creatures through Waller, whose shift in her strategy to carry out her missions is one of the focuses of the upcoming animated series.
