Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief saw a great transformation in the Loki Season 2 finale, where he became the God of Stories.
While the British actor first took on this beloved role in Thor in 2011, the actor has reprised it in many MCU projects before getting his own series on Disney+.
After sacrificing himself and stabilizing the timelines in season 2, he fulfilled his glorious purpose and became the cosmic overseer of time, which redeemed his once villainous character.
After the season 2 conclusion, many fans wondered whether Hiddleston would be a part of the MCU's next release, Avengers: Doomsday. While the actor's return is not yet confirmed, speculations and rumors suggest he could be a part of Doomsday.

Tom Hiddleston on returning as Loki in Avengers: Doomsday
While the MCU is very secretive about their future casting and scripts, fans are always eager to know which of their favorite superheroes will join the upcoming project.
With Doomsday being the next hot project for the MCU, people recently asked Hiddleston whether he will reprise his Loki character in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. But unlike Tom Holland, who is famously known for dishing out spoilers, the God of Mischief confirmed nothing for his fans.
Recently, Hiddleston was spotted signing autographs outside a theater in the UK and said this when asked about his return in Doomsday:
''I don't know.''
While many fans and critics speculate that season 2's conclusion opens the gates for the character to appear in Doomsday, nothing has been confirmed yet. With many fans also suggesting that the character meets his end in Doomsday, a report by Super Hero Hype suggests otherwise, where an insider, Alex Perez, noted:
“I don’t think offing him is the plan, since they want Thor and Loki to reunite. However, there will be a shift that takes him off his throne at the End of Time.”
While MCU is famously known for keeping its stars in the dark about their future in the franchise, it might be possible that Hiddleston actually does not know whether the God of Mischief will pop up in the future MCU project. When asked, the actor cryptically said (via Comic Book Movie):
"I think both Thor and Loki have had to excavate and analyze the past and who they feel they really are and what they really want."
While fans are eager to see the brothers reunite, it remains to be seen if it will happen in Doomsday.

Hiddleston's return could benefit Avengers: Doomsday
Many MCU fans believe the franchise lost its connection after Endgame, with Phases 4 and 5 feeling alienated from the rest. This way, the God of Mischief could appear in the MCU next to provide much-needed coherence.
With season 2's conclusion, the character stands with great multiversal knowledge and power, which is bound to be eyed by villainous Doom. A battle between him and the Doctor will be epic and tie it neatly within the franchise.
With Secret Wars heading towards the conclusion of many timelines, this could also be the start of Hiddleston's character's final transformation, the one where he will lead the good to fight off against evil.
Loki's inclusion in Doomsday could see his full-circle moment for the character, which would also be an exciting crossover moment for Doomsday and benefit it.
