"Complete trash": The Challenge 40 fans react to karma point twist

Much-hyped The Challenge 40's second part of the finale aired on January 8, 2025. The recently released episode featured the final results of the game show. Two participants, Rachel and Jenny, were crowned winners with a tie. With just one point difference, Michele was in the third position.

For the women's results, Jenny was first, Michele second, and Jenny in the third position, followed by Tori. However, many things shifted after The Challenge 40 host TJ mentioned Karma Point Twist.

For that, eliminated participants were called to cast their "Karma Votes" for the show finalists. As a result, Jenny received two karma points, Rachel received 8, Michele 4, and Tori 6 karma points.

The Challenge 40 finale part two: How did Karma Points Twist affect the finale results?

MTV aired The Challenge 40's second part finale on January 8, 2025, disclosing the winners. For the male participants: Jordan won with 27 checkpoints and 4 Karma Points, followed by Derek (27 Points), Johnny Bananas (17 Points), and Kyland (15 Points.)

As for the female cast members, initially, the points were:

Jenny - 22 Checkpoints,
Michele - 19 Checkpoints,
Rachel 16 Checkpoints,
Tori - 13 Checkpoints.

However, everyone was shocked after The Challenge 40 host TJ Lavin asked the eliminated contestants to cast their votes.

For participants, they would get 8 points for "Great Karma", while the second was 6 points, the third would get 4 points, and the last two would get 2 points. Fans might remember how, throughout The Challenge 40, the show host has been urging everyone to be "nice" to everyone. So now, fans know what he meant back then.
