Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the final chapter of Netflix's comedy drama

Netflix recently released part 3 of Cobra Kai Season 6 on February 13, 2025. The series, created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, is a continuation of the classic Karate Kid movies.

Set 34 years after the original film, Cobra Kai follows the lives of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence ( William Zabka) as they navigate their lives. Other than Macchio and Zabka, the acclaimed series has an outstanding ensemble cast that has elevated and made the show a fan favorite.

Cast and character guide of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3

1) Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso

The American actor gained prominence by playing the role of Daniel LaRusso in the original Karate Kid films. He also appeared in movies like The Outsiders, He’s Way More Famous Than You. He also appeared in TV shows such as Ugly Betty and Eight Is Enough.

He reprised his role of Daniel LaRusso in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. In the final part of season 6, the viewers can see him struggling with Mr. Miyagi’s memories while also trying to guide his students through the intense tournament of Sekai Taikai.

Macchio will again return as LaRusso in the Karate Kid: Legends movie.

2) William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence

William Zabka played the negative role of Johnny Lawrence in the original Karate Kid movies. However, the Cobra Kai series gave his character a redemption arc. In season 6 part 3, Zabka’s Johnny joins hands with Macchio’s Daniel, burying their old rivalry and coming together to mentor their students.

Zabka has also appeared in films like Back To School and A Tiger’s Tale. He was also nominated for an Oscar for writing and producing the short film Most.

3) Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso

Mary Mouser has appeared in several popular shows like NCIS, Scrubs, Monk, and Scandal. She also voiced the character of Eloise in Eloise: The Animated Series.

The character of Samantha LaRusso in Cobra Kai is one of her most notable roles. Mouser’s Samantha is Daniel LaRusso’s ( Ralph Machio) daughter and the female representative of Miyagi-do in the Sekai Taikai tournament.

In part 3 of season 3, Mouser’s Samantha teams up with Peyton List’s Tory to train for the Sekai Taikai tournament.

4) Xolo Mariduena as Miguel Diaz

Known for his roles in Parenthood and Blue Beetle, Xolo Mariduena plays the character of Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai. Miguel is Jahnny’s ( William Zabka) stepson.

In part 3 of season 6, Mariduena’s Miguel becomes the male representative of Cobra Kai-dojo.

5) Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene

Known for his role in Designated Survivor, Tanner Buchanan has also appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, Girl Meets World, and The Fosters.

Buchanan plays the role of Robby Keene in Cobra Kai. He is the male representative of Miyagi-do in the Sekai Taikai tournament. In part 3 of season 6, Buchanan’s Robby gets injured during his semifinal fight with Axel Kovacevic from Iron Dragons-dojo.

6) Peyton List as Tory Nichols

Peyton List gained prominence with her role as Holly Hills in Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. She is currently playing the titular role of Maddie Nears in School Spirits.

List portrays the character of Tory Nichols in Cobra Kai. At the beginning of season 6, Peyton List’s Tory surprises her fans by joining Cobra Kai. In part 3, List’s Tory gets closer to becoming a world champion in the Sekai Taikai tournament.

7) Martin Kove as John Kreese

Veteran actor Martin Kove is known as the main antagonist, John Kreese, in the original Karate Kid movies. Other than that, he has also appeared in movies like Steele Justice, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He was also part of the highly acclaimed sci-fi series The Twilight Zone.

Kove reprised his role as John Kreese in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. After the death of his student due to his own mistake, in part 3, Kove’s Kreese tries to own up to his past mistakes and become a better mentor.
