The finale of Cobra Kai Season 6 will be released on February 13, 2025, on Netflix. This final batch of episodes will conclude the beloved Karate Kid spin-off after six seasons. The 15-episode season is divided into three parts, with the last part focusing on the Sekai Taikai tournament, the most prestigious karate tournament in modern martial arts history, in which fighters from across the globe gather to compete.
Parts 1 and 2 of Cobra Kai Season 6 had some shocking twists and betrayals. Tory Nichols switched sides, leaving Miyagi-Do to compete for Cobra Kai, among other incidents. Before you enjoy part 3 of the show, here are some things to remember for the final part's premiere.
Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2 recap
In part 1, with the Sekai tournament in full swing, Johnny and Daniel’s Miyagi-do prepares to take on Cobra Kai in the ultimate showdown. For years, Miyagi told Daniel that he never competed in the tournament. But later, Daniel finds a Sekai Taikai headband, which leaves him in a spiral of the secrets his mentor might be keeping.
Further in season 6, part 2, a document recovered by Terry Silver revealed that Mr. Miyagi killed an opponent named Claramunt during his time in the Sekai Taikai tournament in the 1940s. This revelation affects Daniel, compelling him to reconsider everything he thinks about his mentor.
Tory Nichols then makes a shocking decision to leave Miyagi-Fang and compete for Cobra Kai in the Sekai Taikai. The death of her mother leaves her financially strained and emotionally vulnerable, which might be the reason behind such an action.

Johnny's son Robby wins the match, and Tory loses to a fighter from the Udar Tigra dojo, which momentarily knocks Cobra Kai out of the tournament. However, Udar gets disqualified as a result of a scandal. This ignites a match between Tory and Sam again, bringing their rivalry to the table. The iron dragons continue to cause trouble for Johnny and Tory in Cobra Kai season 6.
The tournament then turns into complete mayhem when the Udar Tigra dojo is accused of using drugs to enhance the power and performance of the contestants. During this brawl, Kwon, a Cobra Kai fighter, accidentally dies after landing on a dagger that had been dropped during the fight. His death is broadcast live and becomes a turning point in the narrative, shifting the characters' arcs as it questions the morality of the game and compels them to consider its future consequences.
Catch Cobra Kai Season 6 only on Netflix, with the latest episode finale dropping on 13th February 2025.
