It has been officially confirmed that Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 will consist of the six episodes that will end the narrative. Despite nearing its end, anticipation for the final installment of Cobra Kai Season 6 is at an all-time high.
It was previously reported that an error on the part of Netflix's media management led the internet to believe that February 13, 2025, was the release date of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3. However, this has since then been debunked.
In a recent post on Cobra Kai's official Instagram page, fans expressed their anticipation for the final set of episodes. Responding to the comments, the show's page hinted that the release date is "coming really soon."
Carokope07: "I'm going to miss them so much, I'd be there for season 7"
CobraKaiSeries: "Season 6 Part 3 is coming really soon."
Another user further commented:
"Yasxxn_x10: "Can't wait for next part of 'Cobra Kai'"
To this, the show's page replied:
"CobraKaiSeries: "Almost there. But you better prepare because we’re coming with everything."
Although it is now official that this will be the end of the road for the popular show, the Karate Kid franchise will continue to live on in the form of an upcoming film reboot. Here's all that we know.
What's the latest buzz around Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3?
Without any official announcement, fans of Cobra Kai are left to speculate about the potential release date, plot, and cast of the final batch of episodes. Given that it is indeed the end of the line for the show, it might be expected that the showrunners will be roping in the major characters to make a final appearance.
In terms of the plot, several strands of the narrative need to be taken up and developed to a conclusion. So far, the rest of the sixth season has pivoted itself around the challenging Seikai Taikai tournament.
In addition to the results of the tournament, there are also the consequences of the death of Kwon that might be explored in the final few episodes.
Showrunners open up about the end of Cobra Kai Season 6
Cobra Kai creator and showrunner Jon Hurwitz had previously taken to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to speak out about the end of the show. He stated:
"Netflix didn't tell us it was the last season. We told them it was the last season. We've always wanted to end Cobra Kai on our own terms and we are grateful we have the opportunity to do so."
In an interview with Gizmodo in July this year, he mentioned that the final batch of five episodes would culminate all past narratives. He commented:
"For the final five (episodes), it’s not only closing out 'Cobra Kai' as a series, but it’s digging all the way back to the Karate Kid movies. It’s a resolution for a lot of these characters and new beginnings for them as well in different ways. And it’s going to be a really fun, fulfilling final five episodes, I think, for fans of this franchise. If you’ve been a fan for just a few years now, or if you’ve been a fan for 40 years, you’re in for a real treat in the final five."
All episodes of the show up until Season 6 Part 2 are exclusively available on Netflix.
