The Colorado Buffaloes' fans have double reasons to rejoice. Not only did Deion Sanders, Colorado's head coach, lead the team into their first bowl game in four years but also Prime Video has announced the release date of Coach Prime, which will offer the fans a deeper insight into the team and its campaign.

Coach Prime Season 3 is all set to release on Prime Video on January 7, 2025. The first season of the show that aired in 2022 focused on Deion during his days on the Jackson State football team as the head coach. Season two of Coach Prime saw Deion making his journey to Colorado.

As per the trailer that dropped on December 30, 2024, Coach Prime Season 3 will be featuring interviews with not only Coach Prime Deion Sanders himself but also with quarterback Shedeur Sanders, CU athletic director Rick George, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., Charles Woodson of NFL fame, and others.

While performing consistently well, Colorado has completed their 2024 season at 9-4 after they lost in the Alamo Bowl to BYU on Saturday. Coach Prime Season 3 will particularly focus on how this team underwent drastic positive changes under the leadership of Sanders, only within a span of two years since the year before he took charge of the team, they were standing at 1-11.

Who will be featured in Coach Prime Season 3?

One of the key figures of interest in Coach Prime Season 3 besides Sanders, is Travis Hunter, the two-way star of the Buffaloes’. His Heisman Trophy campaign will be one of the primary highlights in this season of Coach Prime.

Hunter's claim to fame came with his proven ability as both a cornerback and a wide receiver, which helped the team get nationwide attention. Moreover, this season is also special since 2024 marked Sanders’ last season coaching his sons, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders, a quarterback and defensive back, respectively.
