An Intruder at Goodwin's House in Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5?
When Sharon Goodwin received a death threat, it looked like the anonymous miscreant deliberately chose the spookiest night of the year. After a hard day of work, Goodwin heard a noise upstairs while pouring a glass of wine.
She left the house after a while and was surprised by a masked figure outside. She pepper sprayed him only to find that he was a neighborhood teen who was trick-or-treating. While Chicago PD did a clean sweep of her house looking for clues, they found nothing.
Later, when she asked one of her neighbors for the footage of her doorbell camera, she saw someone at her house who was not recognizable from the recording. Halloween might be over in Chicago Med, but danger has just begun for Goodwin.
Difficult cases for Dr. Charles and Asher in Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5
Dr Charles dealt with a psych patient who wanted to break out to make it to his daughter. While Charles thought the patient was mentally unwell, Jackie reckoned he was telling the truth.
Later, Jackie realized that Dr. Charles was right about the patient's diagnosis. However, when Charles spoke with the patient, he started having second thoughts. He suspected that the man was not mentally unstable, but was having a reaction triggered by an overdose of asthma medication and nasal spray.
Elsewhere, Asher and Maggie dealt with a pregnant woman with an autistic son. The boy had a minor episode triggered by the chaos in the E.R. Asher learned that the woman blamed herself for her son's condition. She later diagnosed a fetal heart block in the baby after her ultrasound.
Who was the busiest doctor on Halloween night in Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5?
Dr. Frost seems to be the busiest doctor on Halloween night, with some crazy cases. He helped pull out a lollypop from a boy's ear and also had a case involving some teens who were bitten by rats. While he was treating them, one of the teens attacked and bit Dr. Frost. He turned out to be one of the psych patients who had broken out and ended up with the teens' group.
Frost also had a case with Dr. Ripley and Lynne's son, who showed signs of being cymatic. The X-ray revealed that the boy had pneumonia. After Ripley discovered that Lynne left their baby with a sitter to party, he was angry with her.
Ripley treated a nun who came in for abdominal pain, which was connected to a miscarriage she never knew she had. While he confided in his patient about the episode with his baby, he realized that his anger got out of hand, and he went to Lynne to reassure her that he would always be by their side.
