The seventh episode of Celebrity Bear Hunt, No Smoke Without Fire, aired on February 5, 2025. It featured Shirley's elimination from the Bear Pit and the next challenge.
In the water-based task, participants were divided into two groups. They had to cross a river, find tools and supplies, and ignite a fire. After Team Green (Zuu, Una, and Steph) won the task, team Blue (Lottie, Kola, and Joe) was sent to the Bear Pit.
Another Bear Pit Challenge with new rules was featured in the latter part of Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 7. After Joe's elimination, Lottie, Steph, Una, Zuu, and Kola became five finalists.
Celebrity Bear Hunt Season 1 Episode 7: Two eliminations, one challenge, five finalists
Celebrity Bear Hunt's seventh episode started with Shirley's elimination from the Bear Pit. Zuu and Joe returned to the base camp. Kola told Zuu about his argument with Lottie, and later on, he had a one-on-one conversation with her.
However, they ended the conversation with even more disagreements.
"I don't wanna be in your team tomorrow. I don't wanna...Swear to God, if I'm in your team tomorrow, I'm moving," said Lottie.
After her conversation with Zuu, Lottie apologized to Kola, and they reconciled.
Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 7: River of Fire Challenge
The next morning, participants found a note on the table that said, "The River of Fire." Bear Grylls came out of the Bear Pit gate and demonstrated "fire-lighting" in the wild. He mentioned it was for the next challenge.
The remaining six celebrity participants went to Rio Colorado for the next challenge, River of Fire.
"In this challenge, you'll be racing head-to-head in your teams along the river. You've got to pick up your rafts and paddles, inflate the rafts and head down the canyon, grabbing everything that you think you might need, before arriving at the beach and building a fire," shared the host.
She mentioned that the team getting a pot of boiling water over the fire would win. Zuu, after escaping the previous Bear Pit, got to choose his team.
- Team Green: Zuu, Una, and Steph,
- Team Blue: Lottie, Kola, and Joe.
To demonstrate the beginning of the challenge, where contestants had to jump off a cliff into the water, Bear called the host, Holly, as a volunteer. After Holly, Bear also jumped in the river with a backflip.
The challenge started, and all the participants jumped into the river one by one. With his knowledge, Joe knew how to inflate the boats, so his team, Blue, was first to get it done and go in the river.
Team Green took more time for that part, and later on, they got into the river in their rafts. For team Blue, Kola could not get his raft moving while his teammates Joe and Lottie already reached the tool collection points.
After Kola's boat was damaged, he swam while Lottie and Joe collected the tools. Team Green left one of their rafts, and after getting all their tools in Zuu's raft, Steph and Una swam in the river.
When the team Green reached the shore, their opponents were about to start a fire. However, the team Blue was not able to keep a steady fire. Team Green won the task after they could boil the water before their opponents.
"I was just so proud of us. 'Cause it's that classic hare-and-tortoise story. We just took our time, stayed calm, and worked together as a team. And we had this euphoric moment of beating the others," confessed Steph.
Celebrity Bear Hunt: Another Bear Pit challenge for Lottie, Joe, and Kola
The next morning, Holly arrived for Joe, Kola, and Lottie's Bear Pit challenge, which would last 45 minutes. She mentioned that there would be three exits, each of which could be used once. Additionally, each exit would require more than one tool to open.
After reaching the map inside the Bear Pit, the participants shared which exit they would be using.
- Kola: Tunnel exit,
- Lottie: Ladder exit,
- Joe: 4x4 exit.
After reaching their respective exits, they learned about the required tools. Upon reaching the first tool's location, they would get a clue about the second tool. Lottie found the ladder planks, which were tied to a lock. She needed to find a key.
Bear Grylls was hiding behind a rock near the riverbed. Soon, Kola set off two traps while grabbing a tool. Soon, he saw Bear running towards him, and he ran away.
"I got chased by Bear. Got the tool. Wow. I was so close," Kola said.
Lottie managed to get the key from the trap. While shadowing Kola from a distance, Bear spotted Joe. He tried to run away, but Bear caught Joe after he fell.
Celebrity Bear Hunt star Lottie managed to escape, but Bear caught Kola. Joe and Kola were brought to the Bear Pit Court while Lottie returned to the camp. The seventh episode saw Joe's elimination by the end of the challenge.
After Kola returned to the camp, Celebrity Bear Hunt host Holly joined the five finalists. They were Lottie, Steph, Zuu, Kola, and Una. She mentioned there wouldn't be any challenge the next day, as they'd advance straight to the final Bear Pit, after which the winner would be crowned.
