Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 6 Recap: One participant gets injured while others are shocked by new Bear Pit rules

Neflix's Celebrity Bear Hunt premiered on February 5, 2025, and released all eight episodes in one go. It features 12 "celebrities" on the competition show, featuring survivalist expert Bear Grylls. Holly Willoughby hosts the show.

The sixth episode of the reality show Pain Is Weakness Leaving Your Body featured Danny's elimination from the Bear Pit. Further on, the episode saw a height-related challenge at the Caiman Cliff, where participants were divided into two teams.

As Bear Grylls suggested, Joe had to sit out the task and would go to the Bear Pit as he was the only one who hadn't experienced that. After Steph's injury, her team lost the task, and she, along with Zuu and Shirley, were sent to the Bear Pit. However, she couldn't go to the Bear Pit because of her injury.

Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 6 Recap: One more elimination followed by Caiman Cliff's task and yet another Bear Pit with new rules

The sixth episode of Celebrity Bear Hunt picked up at the Bear Pit, where Bear Grylls was hiding under the leaves. He was waiting for the two remaining celebrities, Shirley and Kola. When Kola found the required tool across the crocodile-filled water, he took the wooden boat and started crossing the water.

However, as Kola reached the middle, Bear caught him and pulled him back to the shore. With five minutes remaining until the task completion, Shirley was the last to get caught by Bear.

"You can take heart, you're the last I caught. Well done. And with minutes to spare. But you're looking like, to me, a ninja now," said Bear.

Caught celebrities, including Danny, Kola, and Shirley, were taken to the Bear Pit Court for elimination. Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 5 featured Danny's elimination.

Steph ran out of the Bear Pit gates while whistling towards the base camp. Soon, Shirley and Kola returned, and Danny was sent home. While everyone enjoyed their time and was cheerful, Kola went to sleep as he wanted to "decompress."

Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 6: Caiman Cliff Challenge between two teams

The next morning, participants visited the Caiman Cliff for the next challenge. Contestants were divided into two teams and were supposed to get the supply bags hanging on the "ridiculously high cliff." After identifying the correct bags, ropes attached to those bags were to be cut using a rock.

"But speed is of the essence. They only have 30 seconds on each platform before it plummets into the croc-infested waters below. The team that retrieves the most supply bags wins," said the host.

Soon, Bear Grylls joined them and showed how to cut a rope using an edgy rock. He also told Joe that since he had not yet been to the Bear Pit, he had to go to the Pit and sit out for the current challenge.

Previous Bear Pit winner Steph was given a chance to choose her teammates.

• Team Orange: Steph, Shirley, and Zuu,
• Team Green: Lottie, Una, and Kola.

The green team was first up. Two contestants were supposed to be atop the cliff to detach the bags. One participant was required to collect the bags on the side of the cliff, on the hanging wooden platforms.

Lottie volunteered to go onto the hanging platforms while Kola and Una were on the cliff to detach the bags. He would handle the detaching while Una would work on their communication.

"So, remember, five green bags, five platforms. Lottie, the 20-second timer will start as soon as you put your foot onto that platform," stated the host.

Team Green was able to secure three bags.

Celebrity Bear Hunt star Steph went down on the platform for team Orange while Zuu was on rope-cutting duty, and Shirley was handling the communication. While pulling the second bag of supplies, Steph lost balance and fell off the platform onto the side of the cliff. She cut her nose and was bleeding, and a cactus also injured her hands.

"Yes, I'm in pain, but as someone said to me, pain is weakness leaving your body. Which I'm not sure about, but I'm holding on to that thought," confessed Steph.

With three bags, team Green won, and as a result, Zuu, Shirley, and Steph would be sent to the Bear Pit, along with Joe.

Celebrity Bear Hunt: One more Bear Pit challenge, but with new rules

Celebrity Bear Hunt host Holly arrived for Joe, Zuu, and Shirley at the camp. From her injury, Steph was given a pass. However, Holly mentioned a change in rules for the challenge.

"But today, Bear has changed the rules of engagement. You're going to be in the pit for 45 minutes. There are still three exits in place. But you can no longer hope just to evade Bear and run down the clock. You must escape the Bear Pit. The stakes are really high here," stated the host.

For the first time in the Bear Pit, Joe aimed for the dig-under-the-fence exit. Shirley was on her way to the tunnel exit. Zuu went for the locked fence exit, which was the "closest."

Celebrity Bear Hunt star Zuu arrived at the tunnel exit first, and he learned from the map that he needed to get the key from the crocodile pool. After reaching the fence, Joe learned that the exit needed a spade to dig.

As Shirley reached the tunnel, she needed a spanner to open it. While on her way, she tripped one of the time traps. She saw the spanner in the middle of the trap but managed to get the tool. However, she soon saw Bear chasing her and was caught.

Zuu reached into the crocodile-filled water and saw the key hanging across. While struggling to get in the rubber boat, he somehow managed by spreading his body across the boat and went to get the key.

When Joe saw a flag, he was rushing there, completely unaware of his surroundings; he set off one of the traps. Bear heard it and quickly spotted Joe. Seeing and listening to Joe "thinking out loud," Bear caught him.

Further on, in the Celebrity Bear Hunt, Bear Grylls aimed to catch Zuu, but before he could find him, Zuu unlocked the fence and got out of there.

Lottie and Kola argued over Zuu in the Bear Pit at the base camp. Kola lost his calm, throwing a bag in the storage area, and murmured that Lottie was "famous 'cause of her sister." The sixth episode of Celebrity Bear Hunt ended with this argument.
